Great location and great apartment

I would highly recommend this VRBO. The apartment was beautiful, the location amazing and the host very responsive and flexible. The only little problem was construction noise of the hotel next door during the week, but it made very little difference. We had a great stay!

A beautiful apartment in an easily accessible neighborhood

The apartment was very nice, and the neighborhood was very convenient to sightseeing with metro lines very close. There were also great food choices within walking distance. It was hot while we were there, and there was no AC, but the fans worked pretty well to keep us comfortable. The manager who checked us in was very nice and helpful even when we had a loss of communication ability (phone data wasn't working) and we ended up being late to check in. I would highly recommend this apartment!

The Perfect Paris Location

This apartment was in a perfect Parisian location near several metro stops and everything we needed and wanted. Maikel consistently checked in and even worked with us to drop off luggage early. Roger, the property manager was super friendly and accommodating. The apartment was clean, stocked well, and smelled amazing. Even though we were there during the protests, we felt very safe in the apartment and location in general. Would definitely stay here again and have already recommended the location to friends!

Beautiful Apartment on Blvd St. Michel

This apartment was just perfect. Very clean, well appointed, great use of space and excellent location off Blvd. St. Michel. It's close to many shops and restaurants and is a nice walk to the Left Bank area. It was spacious enough for three of us and the apartment looked updated. Beds were very comfortable and the master bath very nice! The host Maikel was so gracious and checked in on us to make sure everything was okay. I would highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful space in fun area

This is a great space right in the heart of downtown Paris. I highly recommend it. Very safe with the courtyard. The door opens right to the Jardin de Luxenberg, shopping and cute bistros. We had some problems with a leak but the owner personally arrived to fix it. There was no compensation offered for our inconvenience, which I was a bit surprised, but nonetheless the space was very clean. A bit dark as there’s no real windows that allow light in. Highly recommend.

Great location in the Latin Quarter

Located near the Sorbonne, Luxembourg Gardens and the Pantheon-you can't ask for a better location. Staying here gave us the experience of what it would be like to live in Paris. There was lots of room to spread out too. My husband and son who are over 6 feet tall felt like they had enough room to walk around and be comfortable. Some hotels and apartments have low ceilings and small furniture, this apartment did not. The apartment is well decorated with a good sized master bedroom and large upstairs bathroom. Two things I would of want to know before I rented are 1) the couch can be uncomfortable to sit in because of the bed underneath (but that can be fixed by using more pillows and there are lots of throw pillows) and 2) there is major construction going on at a nearby building beginning at 8:00 am. So it can get pretty loud during the day. However-I would still recommend staying here because the amenities, quaintness and location are worth it. Also-the Metro is short walk away, as is a Taxi stand. We had no trouble getting Ubers either.

Great time in Paris

This was our first family trip to Paris and this apartment was perfect for our family. It is just as pictured. The little boys shared the sofa bed in the living room, my teen daughter had her own bed in a small but perfectly sized room and my husband and I had the upstairs room and bathroom. There is a tiny full bath off of the living room which was perfect for the kids to use. It was nice to have two bathrooms. We used the washer for our clothes and they had a drying rack to hang them out to dry while we toured around the city. The location is right in between three metro / RER stops that we used to get places when we wanted to save our steps. Restaurants, shops and grocery close by. The location is just across from Luxembourg gardens and between the Panthéon and Sorbonne University. We walked through Saint Germain to the Louvre (no metro needed). We walked past Saint Chapelle & Notre Dame to go shopping in the Marais Area (no metro needed), took RER (Luxembourg) to Les Catacombs and the Metro to Eiffel Tower. The Latin Quarter has plenty to do and a very cute restaurant area on Rue de la Harpe & Rue de la Huchette and a pop up Sunday market in front of the Fontaine Saint-Michel. Twice we stayed out past midnight because we wanted to see the tower sparkle and both times we felt safe walking back to the house (although the crowds do thin out for the last block or two). We weren’t sure we would survive no AC but it was never a problem. We would stay again.

Perfect Left Bank Home Base--So Convenient and Clean!

I visit Paris several times a year, each time staying near the Jardins du Luxembourg, but this was my first time not staying at a hotel since my whole family was coming too. This apartment exceeded all expectations! The apartment was absolutely spotless--no odors in the bathrooms or a stray hair in sight. The location is just perfect, right on Bd Saint-Michel, just a short walk from the businesses I typically frequent (Le Choupinet across the street and Le Balzar around the corner are always fantastic), as well as the jardin. If you need to stock up on snacks or food supplies, Monoprix is not far, and there is a Carrefour Express that is closer. We did not use the kitchen but it was equipped with everything you'd need to whip up a meal. More towels were provided than we needed, which was nice. It was great having a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. The check-in process was smooth and the owner was super responsive, but we had no reason to contact him during our week-long stay since the apartment had everything. The stairs now have railings. It was also easy to use public transportation because the RER station is a short walk away, and bus number 21 gets you from the apartment to the Galeries Lafayette area on the Right Bank and Place de Clichy near Montmarte. I was initially apprehensive about not having much natural light since all windows are frosted and there are no windows in the bedrooms, but that turned out to be a blessing: We all had the best sleep of our lives and felt so rested the entire trip! We will definitely stay here again. Many thanks to Maikel for this absolutely perfect stay!

Too hot, no airflow, terrible beds, shower leaks all over the slippery tile and into the hallway

Got to the property at check in time, 4:00, not ready and told to come back in 1 1/2 hours. First night one shower flooded the bathroom so we needed to use 4 towels to clean up. Very slippery and dangerous, especially having a broken shoulder. Didn’t bring towels until early afternoon the next day. Attempted to unplug the shower saying it was fixed, it was not. Tiny window in top bedroom, way to stuffy and not able to cool the bedrooms down. No hot water in the downstairs shower. Lovely property with the center courtyard, and location is pretty good. Hideaway bed is not good. Would not rent again

The property was very dark and had a strong mildew odor throughout. Check-in was awful with zero communication. The shower flooded, there weren’t enough towels, and the second bedroom was tiny and uncomfortably hot. Worst of all, the door lock was loose and hard to secure, which made us feel unsafe. While the owner did offer to send someone to fix it, this is our vacation and we did not want people in our space while we were not there. This never should have been an issue in the first place. We ended up leaving early. Only giving stars for cleanliness.

Great location and excellent communication with owner. But not suitable to four adults.

The apartment is advertised as suitable for four, but the second bedroom is very small and has no closet or even floor space to put a suitcase out. The bathroom for this bedroom was on the other side of the apartment. We rented the apartment with the intention of housing four adults and a toddler, but on arrival realized this would not work. The couple with the toddler had find accommodations elsewhere. In fairness, there was a sofa bed in the living room, but that can make for an awkward living situation for two couples. Finally, if it matters, the TV does not have access to any English speaking news stations. The location is great as advertised.

Superb Location, Would stay Again

The location of this apartment is excellent. On the border of 5th & 6th arrondissements, it's a 15-25 min walk to most of the must-see sites in Paris, except the Eiffel Tower. For that, it's best to take a taxi/Uber. It's an easy 5 min walk to a large grocery/sundry store, which made our nine-day stay very pleasant. Since our main objective was to see the sites, our group of three was delighted with this apartment!The listing says the apartment sleeps 5, but after our stay, I feel 3 adults are well suited here and 5 would only work if there are children. The smaller bedroom is only large enough for the double bed. There is no room to put luggage larger than a carry-on and there's no closet in the room. The master bedroom is much more ample, complete with an entire wall of closets. This layout creates a perfect retreat upstairs for mom and dad, with kids in the double and on the pullout sofa. If you are traveling with friends, like I was, take note of the difference in sleeping options. The stairs are designed to be space-saving so some are angled making them hard to maneuver with luggage. Even going up/down the stairs with nothing in your hands takes focus, so be aware.Both bathrooms are lovely and very functional. Having two full baths in this space is a design bravo!Other reviewers commented on the apartment being a little dark. I agree. Providing brighter bulbs and more lamps would help. I sent many questions to Maikel and he was wonderful with his communication!
