My wife and I stayed 7 nights at the Printemps Apartment at Rue de Rivoli near the Hotel de Ville. Long story short, we would absolutely stay there again! We had a wonderful time with this place and its convenient location in the heart of Paris. Jean and Nicole were gracious hosts!
The apartment was sized just right for the two of us and held the charm of a vintage Parisian apartment, but holding the modern comforts of a fully-stocked kitchen, renovated washroom, and electrical connections for all our gadgets. Notably, the bed was quite comfortable and the room had outlets for Type A plugs (U.S.A. plugs) with USB connections as well. I didn’t have to use my travel converter! The apartment sized refrigerator was more than enough to hold any food and drink we acquired during our adventures. The view from the two large windows is second to none – you will be amazed and you can make a daily habit out of people watching from those windows.
Given it’s location, it is certainly a heavy traffic area during the day, complete with emergency vehicles from the nearby police station and hospital. However, this was inconsequential compared to the convenient departure point for all of what Paris has to offer, with quick walks to the Metro, RER (city train), and bus stops.
The next time we go to Paris we hope to stay here again!
