Wonderful Location

Nice place that was comfortable. It’s got a great location close to a metro station. It felt safe and was in a nice area with bakeries, patisseries, restaurants and a grocery store. There are a lot of steps that can be a challenge for people who have issues with stairs. The door is tricky to get into but the owner was helpful with that.

Large Bercy property great for families

This property is located on the same block as a Metro/Train stop so that made it very convenient to tour around Paris. Also close to Bercy Arena, within walking distance. Nice to have four separate bedrooms (2 up and 2 down). Plus one with twin beds so folks don't have to share a bed. Door to get in is a bit tricky and old-fashioned. The downstairs toilet is in a small closet under the stairs so that was disappointing. But nice to have a full kitchen plus washing/drying machine (although it takes forever). Be aware it is located next to a school so bell rings and kids play at recess loudly right next door.

Europe trip

Pros: The property was in an excellent location. Quick and easy access to the metro line, restaurants around the corner including breakfast, dinner and pubs. The house is roomy had enough room for the 7 of us. The host had little welcome gifts and beverages in the fridge for our arrival. Host was very easy to contact and responded quickly. With most European hotels and rentals there was no wash clothes but we were able to purchase some at the store down the street (similar to a Target). Cons: there is a school located next to the building and kids start screaming at 8:20 every morning. No portable fans. While it was cooler during our visit the rooms would get hot at night. Sleeping with the window was an option which we used but it still was warm in the rooms. Overall a great stay with a few minor issues. Would stay here again after school is out for summer. 🙂

Séjour d'une nuit

Nous étions de passage à Paris avec un groupe d'amis de 9 personnes, et recherchions un lieu où dormir au calme avec de l'espace. La maison de Véronique a su répondre parfaitement à notre attente. Il s'agit d'un pavillon situé au sud-est de Paris, dans un quartier calme à proximité d'une station de métro. Le bien se trouve au fond d'une cour, proposant un espace séjour confortable et plusieurs chambres, ainsi qu'une petite terrasse privative sur laquelle il est très appréciable de prendre le petit déjeuner. La maison correspondait parfaitement aux photos de l'annonce, était bien rangée et propre. Les lits étaient prêts à mon arrivée le matin. La porte est cependant assez difficile à ouvrir, il faut prendre le coup de main avec la serrure. Véronique, la propriétaire, bien que n'étant pas sur place, a su répondre par message rapidement à toutes mes questions. Pour résumer, je recommande donc ce bien pour une famille ou un groupe d'amis de 6 à 9 personnes (si certaines sont d'accord pour dormir dans un même lit double), souhaitant se retrouver au calme à Paris sans voisin proche.
