The large common area is spacious and lovely with a large dining table and a good kitchen. It was perfect for our large group coming to Paris for a reunion. We used it for a gathering spot, but only six of us were able to sleep there, which meant one person had a not very comfortable place to stay. Originally a workshop, two loft areas were built to create the maximum number of sleeping areas, but many of those areas are cramped or dark. One sleeping area has ceilings too low to stand up. There are five comfortable bedrooms.
You should also be aware that the fee rises with the number of people using the apartment, which is not made clear in the description. And that includes people visiting the apartment, not just those sleeping there. Our group was surprised by additional charges weeks after we booked for “extra guests,” meaning those who would be coming by for coffee, etc.
All in all, it was a lovely spot for our reunion, but more expensive than we expected. Worth the price perhaps if you are willing to pay a high premium for charm.
