Hôtel was really cute in a quirky, but classy way. Great breakfast available. I recommend if you would like a clean, fun, unique place to stay. I’m an elderly man and I really enjoyed it, younger people would moreso.

Location is excellent, about 200m to Moulin Rouge, loads of bars and restaurants in the side streets, and just over 10 mins walk to Galleries Lafayette and Opera area. My 2nd time there and my next trip to Paris will be there also. The breakfast is great, and the all day snacks and tea & coffee etc are a seriously nice touch.

I wanted a more modern hotel considering the constraints and lack of air conditioning in most hotels in Paris. Hotel Joke was an answer to those concerns. The superior room had a king size bed with plenty of space. Air conditioning worked wonderfully for both cooling during the day and heating at night. The showers were hot and powerful. The hot breakfasts every morning were a huge plus for us. Eggs, sausage , pancakes , croissants , cheese, the works. The staff was absolutely wonderful , anything extra we needed , they tended to. If you’re looking for a more American style hotel in a great location in Montmartre for a more affordable price, this is it.

Fantastic hotel! In an excellent location, walking distance to local sights or relaxed bars/bistros/cafes. The staff were great, very helpful during check in/check out. The room was immaculately presented, with complimentary soft mini-bar. Would definitely recommend Hotel Joke to anyone coming to Montmartre/Pigalle area to stay! We will be back!

I brought 11 ladies to Paris and we stayed at Hotel Joke.every lady mentioned how much the appreciated the service, their room and the breakfast and snacks. We also stopped at a few of tge other Astotel hotels during our week in Paris, and we're always greeted with smiles and invited to enjoy a refreshment and use their toilets. I will always choose Astotel hotels for me and my clients!
