A small, peaceful and romantic oasis right in the centre of Paris!!

The island of Saint-Louis is adored for its walking paths along the River Seine, cosy cafes, tiny restaurants and its mesmerising view of the Notre-Dame cathedral. One of the two natural islands in Paris, the neighbourhood is still well embedded in the 17th and 18th centuries, both in appearance and in spirit - with some of the most privileged and elegant real estate in Paris.

The lesser-known attractions - discreet squares, narrow cobbled streets and local markets are the area’s best-kept secret. Great location but overpriced.

Terrific location and a very nice apartment. The value for the high price is lacking. Very modern aspect of this apartment is stylish but, the appliances and thermostat controls were too high-tech and not user friendly. There was no instruction manual for anything. No microwave oven. At times there was a distinct foul odor emanating from the bathroom drains, especially at night. Construction noise from the adjacent property began early, daily, and loud clomping noise from the apartment above was prominent at night. Not a restful stay. However, there is an abundance of closet space.
