"We had a wonderful stay at the 17th century mansion. It is obvious that a lot of love and time has been spent on the renovation. The house had numerous rooms for relaxing and a very large, well equipped kitchen. Some rooms were harder to heat, but most were very comfortable. There was a little mix up prior to check in regarding a security deposit needed at time of arrival, but we reached an agreement. The house was very convenient and there was parking very near by."

Two bedrooms are up a narrow flight of stairs which may pose difficulties for elderly people and the toilet is located on the first floor only. Very nicely decorated. "

"My friend and I had a wonderful stay in this apartment! Whilst there were three bedrooms we only slept in two of them. This left us the third bedroom to spread out luggage and do some repacking during our stay! It is important to note that this apartment is on the third floor with no lift. "Very comfortable room (the ones with a balcony in the range 31-36 ish). Warm (it was end Nov), attractive, carpeted (always a bonus), beautiful sunrise view. We’ve tried all room types over 20 years at Val Moret but this is our favourite so far (already booked for next 3 visits). Reception lady was very helpful and attentive. This is a really good travelling stopover choice. The restaurant is consistently very good. Menu choices are seasonally varied and of a high standard. Presentation is excellent, flavours well balanced and varied. Desserts are always amazing. The waiting staff are professional and attentive. This restaurant punches well above its weight. Always have Champagne with your meal. "
