"We had a really lovely stay at Residenza Camboni. The property is clearly brand new, very clean and well maintained. What we liked most was the setting: it is in the countryside, surrounded by olive groves, trees and greenery, with the different buildings naturally separated by bushes and trees, so there is a lovely sense of privacy. Our apartment was behind a beautiful hill, and at night we could see the stars. It was quiet and peaceful, with the wonderful scent of the trees and vegetation all around. A relaxing and romantic atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was also great, about 30 minutes from Villasimius and around 15 km from some of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rei. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back."

"La maison correspondait parfaitement à l'annonce. Très propre et bien équipée, absolument rien à redire, que du bonheur.La communication avec Andrea qui gère les arrivées et départs était top! Il a répondu à nos diverses questions et était extrêmement serviable.La piscine n'est pas immenses mais convient parfaitement pour se rafraîchir en fin de journée. Les plages et criques à 10 minutes de voitures sont magnifiques. A recommander sans risque. Merci encore pour ces merveilleux moments et au plaisir de revisiter encore ces magnifique île."

"Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft in einem schönen, großen Garten, Pool und außergewöhnlich netten und hilfsbereiten Gastgebern. Die Wohnungen sind ausgestattet mit Klimaanlagen auf beiden Etagen, Insektengittern und einer Möglichkeit selbst zu kochen. Es gibt Liegestühle zum Verweilen und die Möglichkeit zu jeder Tageszeit kühle Getränke aus einem Kühlschrank neben dem Gebäude zu erwerben. Für Ausflüge zum Strand konnten wir uns Strandstühle und Sonnenschirme ausleihen. Schöne Strände und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nicht weit entfernt und mit dem Auto in 5 bis 20 Minuten gut zu erreichen.Alles in allem eine wirklich empfehlenswerte Unterkunft. Vielen Dank an die beiden Gastgeber, für ihre hilfsbereite und herzliche Art - es war sehr schön."

"Wir durften bereits ein zweites Mal zu Gast in diesem wundervollen Ferienhaus sein. Es liegt schön abgelegen man hat Ruhe und Palmen vor der Tür. Die Strände sind nur 15 Autominuten entfernt. Wir waren oft am Sant Elmo, Costa Rei, Capo Ferrato und natürlich die Calla Sinzias. Auch der Strand Timi Ama ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Klimaanlage, Fliegengitter, Backofen, Geschirrspüler auch eine Grundausstattung ist vorhanden. Es gibt Handtücher und Bettwäsche und eine Waschmaschine. Außerdem gibt es eine große Garage wo sogar ein Minibus Platz findet. Wenn man Essen gehen möchte ist die Pizzeria am Capo Ferrato sehr zu empfehlen. Einkaufen kann man in der Nähe beim Metzger oder im Supermarkt Crai (Sant Elmo) oder Eurospin (ca. 30 Auto Minuten). Der Gastgeber war immer erreichbar und freundlich. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt empfehlen."

"Pros: The property is surrounded by a peaceful, down-to-earth setting. The stones and wood are authentic, with a Sardinian touch. The tents around the main house are nice, and because it is on a small mountain, the wind and weather make the evenings very nice. It is great for families who don't mind walking and taking stairs, like having family BBQs or pizza evenings, or for people who want a retreat. All is there, even a small farm on the hill. It is really beyond words to describe. Thank you the hole team. Cons: there is nothing we did not enjoy"

"Too cold for pool. Property is unusual and interesting. Great views! A couple of things for Paolo(very nice host!)—small 18 gal. hot water heater, and only set by timer for certain part of day…not too pleasant. Only one set of bed linens. Towels could use upgrade, and more than one set, too. A bit more furniture in living area—only a sofa now.Being there was interesting as this place is good-sized and has interesting layout. Oh, and in this cooler time period, cold/no heat kitchen on lowest level—not too comfortable.Having said all that, we did enjoy our visit, and thanks to Paolo for his efforts! (loved the dogs!)"

"This was a well equipped villa in a great, peaceful location with wonderful views of the bay and gorgeous sunsets. The villa is up an unmade road but only 5-8 mins from a deserted local beach and several supermarkets. Travel for 15-30 mins and you'll find many beaches, some with wonderful crystalline waters and many facilities. We are keen cooks and were delighted with the quality and variety of kitchen equipment. The owner also provided useful extras such as a sun umbrella and cool bag/ice packs. A car is essential. I have mobility issues - there are a number of steps from the car to the villa but once up to the front door, all rooms are on the ground floor, except the inside shower, which is in the basement. This has a good power shower with large shower tray. The outside pool shower is secluded and has hot/cold water so I used this as my main shower for the entire holiday, which was very handy. The owner Mario and his son-in -law Fabio were lovely to deal with and couldn't be more helpful. We'd never visited Sardinia before but would love to return to this beautiful country. All in all a great holiday - a big thank you to Mario and Fabio from Carol and family."

"Beautiful villa and garden, with lovely pool and facilities exactly as described. Francesca (owner) was exceptionally helpful and communicative when we needed anything. She also just checked in with us to ensure all was okay at various points during our stay. Other things mentioned in reviews have been exaggerated or are unfair in my opinion; the power went off twice during two weeks but was back within 1-minute following the instructions we were sent in advance (and repeated at check-in). Anyone who has stayed in rural Italy before will likely have experienced the same (this is our 6th villa over the last decade and all have had 1 or 2 occasions when the fuses have tripped out). No problem at all and just a feature of the local infrastructure I suspect! We did encounter the ants mentioned in other reviews once when we didn’t clean up some spilled pasta starch quickly enough (surprising choice of food for ants?). However, lesson learned and using the boxes provided for any open food and not leaving any food out meant it was never an issue. Again, this is nothing you wouldn’t expect in a countryside property in the height of summer and certainly not a problem if you follow the advice given. The only 4-star element was check-in as we had to wait an extra half an hour due to the person checking us in expecting the keys to have been left after cleaning/check out of previous guests. No drama as the grounds were so nice to sit and wait! Overall, an exceptional stay. "
