「Quaint, older auberge. Our room was lovely and clean. It was, however, very noisy on the outside as it was at a busy intersection. Not only loud pick ups and school buses, but also construction vehicles working several blocks away. There is a really special cafe and bookstore a few buildings away. Three Pines-ish (see Louise Penny) cafe and if you ask, the barista will add a cinnamon or cocoa three pines. Almost too beautiful to drink. 」

The incredible scenery, the relaxed, rustic feel of the place and the surroundings, and proximity to sites we wanted to see, were outstanding! The breakfast was great, and a 'help yourself' attitude is one I appreciate. Overall, there is an eco consciousness at the Beatnik Hotel, that I feel is the way forward in hospitality services. I will return, for sure!」
