Walk to beach and 11 pools

This 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath townhome is in the gated community of Gulf Highlands Beach Resort and an easy 5 minute walk across a pedestrian crossing to the private beach access. Use the beach wagon to carry the 2 chairs, beach towels, and sand toys available for use. Park in one of the two designated parking spots right outside your front door rather than dealing with elevators and crowds. Relax in one of the 11 pools on-site, the nearest of which is one of the five heated pools. Enjoy family meals together at the dining table for six or on the outside patio table. Downstairs has a recliner and sectional big enough for everyone to enjoy movies and TV together. The master bedroom has a queen bed, large TV, its own small bathroom with a single stall shower, and a balcony. The other full bathroom is a tub/shower combination. The second bedroom has two sets of twin bunkbeds and black-out blinds. Guests to Gulf Highlands also have access to the multiple tennis and shuffleboard courts, playground, and the 18-hole putt-putt golf course. Panama City Beach is an enjoyable combination of the natural beauty of this Gulf beach plus the convenience and fun of so many nice restaurants, go-cart tracks, water parks, shopping, and other attractions.

  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

We had a Great Time!

The location and condition of the property was excellent! Our hosts were communicative and responsive. The place had plenty of room and was very comfortable. The beach toys/tools provided were a big convenience. A couple of helpful suggestions: while there were plenty of bath towels, we were under the impression there would be beach towels offered too. Unfortunately there weren't but we made due. Also there could have been bath mats in the bathrooms for stepping out of the shower/bath. Also there was some clothing (undergarments) left behind by previous guests. Other than that, we had an absolutely great time and will come again!

Gulf highlands

Our family of 6 ( 4 kids aged 12,10,4,10months) had a blast! The beach was close enough to walk with all the kiddos. The beach wagon, beach towels, and water toys were a great plus! The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. My favorite was the grill and parking!! 😁😁 we will def be back!

Perfect for families!

This condo delivered! Super-clean and orderly! It is perfect for families, the bunk bed set up is ideal. Living room is perfectly comfortable for a nap after a day at the beach. The walk to the beach was surprisingly short. The beach wagon and chairs are a nice touch! Putt putt was great fun, and playing games on the back patio was a delight. The owners have paid great attention to detail. We’ll definitely come back!

Excellent- Vacation

The property is in a great location just a short walk to the beach. My family really enjoyed our stay. The condo is beautifully decorated and has a ton of extra items for use. ( Beach chairs, beach towels, wagon to carry all your items to the beach). The condo was very clean and very comfortable. The property owners were very informative and answered emails very quickly. I would definitely recommend this property, We hope to return in the future

Wonderful place to stay with family

Awesome place to stay! Loved it!

We enjoyed our stay in Florida very much! We absolutely loved how close the place was to the beach! There were also many different pools to enjoy! The owners did an awesome job stocking the kitchen with everything you would need to cook. We very much enjoyed the beach cart that was available to use, so that we didn’t have to carry all of our stuff to the beach! The place was very nice and clean and felt like home! The beds were also very comfortable! We will definitely be going back to stay!

Excellent lodging for an excellent vacation.

Gulf Highlands is the perfect location. Centrally located between Gulf World and St. Andrews Park. And this unit is great. We would definitely stay there again. I was comparing 2 different units in Gulf Highlands and opted for this one. This one was slightly cheaper but what really hooked us was the beach wagon and chairs and other items. And we left behind some other goodies for those that came after us: a beach umbrella, a second beach mat, a bogey board, 2 inflatable tubes, a new bigger beach chair that is rated for 400 pounds. (One of the chairs there broke on us, so we replaced it.) The walk to the beach is literally 5-6 minutes including pulling the beach wagon and waiting for the crosswalk to stop traffic.

Great place to stay

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Gulf Shores. Our kids loved the walking distance to the beach and to the pools. Our unit felt like we were at home and had the basic condiments and amenities needed to accommodate my family. The owners left detailed instructions to follow and responded promptly to all my questions.

Perfect across from the beach location

This property was decorated beautifully and the owner has thought of everything down to a small beach cooler. With the 11 pools at the resort over crowding at the pool was never an issue. Would definitely stay here again❤️
