The after hours check in person took 15 minutes to find my reservation. She didn't have the combination for the lock box, so we had no information. The private beach had 4 rows of chairs and umbrellas that cost $60/day, so when we set up our own personal umbrella and chairs, we couldn't see the ocean. There was a pillow on our bed with a large yellow stain that didn't even have a pillow case on it.

Seabreeze JF

Attended the 2019 Seabreeze Jazz Festival at Pier Park. We love aquatic environments and love seafood. Our stay was everything we hoped but was not able to fully enjoy the resort because of the demanding schedule of performances at the jazz festival. It was our first visit to Panama City Beach. We have a better perspective for our next visit to the area. The Village of South Walton is a beautiful design community full of family amenities. Our only issues were limited parking, particularly, if you have visitors. Also, no direct contact or response after reporting our laundry equipment failure. Nevertheless, our overall perspective is that the property met our basic needs.

2 Days in the Village of South Walton

It was easy, the place was nice, and I was comfortable. I was there for work, so didn't get to enjoy the pool. It sure looked nice.

The location is everything about this property. It’s put you in the center of everything that is 30a. The activities like arts shows, farmers market, bike rentals, and beaches that might be some of the best in the world. The food is everywhere to eat and relax to enjoy the area.

Not good for business trips

Check-in is only available until 5pm unless you use a lockbox. There is no room service so be prepared to make your own bed and take out your trash. Little to no toiletries provided (no tissues?!). WiFi is spotty. No drawers for clothing and only 4 hangers in the closet. SD cable and a noisy air conditioning system. Walls are thin too. And they didn’t even give me a beach bracelet as promised. The only good thing about this place was the location. Business travelers - there is only a tiny high top kitchen table, futon, and bed so typing is uncomfortable too.

Location in Seacrest beach was right above multiple shops and restaurants and just 1 block from Rosemary Beach shops and restaurants. At approx $150 a night for 3 night stay ($150 a night included the resort fee) in middle of May the value was excellent for a 30a room. Building was a little older probably built in late 1990s but it was clean had refrigerator, sink, microwave, etc. If you musr stay at Pearl in Rosemary Beach and pay $350 a night this place is not for you, but if you want great value at essentially a similar location in 30a I would recommend.

Great location on 30A

Room was nice, reaaonably priced, about what I would expect. I was only able to locate one set of towels, maybe I simply didnt look hard enough. One serious problem, was that when I turned on the A/C unit, I noticed some black flecks on the pillows and blankets near the head of the bed. Upon inspection, it was very clear that the unit had not been cleaned in quite some time, and there was black mold growing in it. A thorough cleaning is all thats required. Also, the check-in location was difficult to find. The address listed was not known by Google Maps or Apple Maps, we ended up having to call the staff and they talked us to the right location. Overall, a nice room at a reasonable price. Just a few changed we would suggest.

No information on where to check in. Not very clean. We had to dust and wipe down air conditioning, fan, headboard, etc. when we checked in. All of them were filthy. No hot water! 5 days of lukewarm water for dishes and showers. Almost fell 3 times in shower...nothing on tub surface to prevent falls.

A nice hotel and close to the beach. The staff was accommodating and friendly. The check in location was across the street which was not explained in the booking details. It took us quite a while and three phone calls to Expedia before we were able to check in. There should be information as to this in the booking.

Nice, basic, apartment-style accommodations.

I would recommend this place to other travelers. Overall it was exactly what we needed - there are not many choices for a 1-bedroom in this area. The room was an apartment style studio. Nothing fancy inside, but the area was fantastic. The Village is so convenient and it is a short walk to the beach. Definitely cannot fit more than 2 people in this studio (I think it was listed as "Sleeps 4").

Fantastic set-up

An amazing place. The location is fantastic, you are in the middle of everything. The room has everything you need and within yards you can rent a bike, walk to the beach, the village, resturants and shops. Everyone is so nice at the front office I could not believe it. Great great service and a super comfortable place.

In a complex with other units.

After a LOOONG day of travel, took a shower and almost killed myself slipping on the floor of the shower, and there was NO grab bar to catch my balance. Fortunately I didn't fall or severely twist my back. At 7:15 am the next morning, we were awakened to construction workers yelling and calling to each other. They were working on a property directly adjacent to the parking lot of the property, 50ft. from our unit. The rest of the morning was spent listening to the melody of a pneumatic nail gun. Had we known this was the condition of the property, we would not have booked the room. We ended up checking out of the property, losing 3 nights lodging. No warning, no notice of the intrusion, and a weak attempt at an apology for the inconvenience.

Dirty room

I checking in late Sat night; around 11:00pm. Upon entering my room it seemed someone had just been in it, not in a good way. Almost all lights were on and the TV was on. It smelt dirty and was dirty. The floors had not been cleaned. The bedding was awful. The bed was dressed with 2 decorative pillows, 2 pillows to use and 1 fitted sheets, 1 flat sheet and a bed throw. The bedding was thin and cheap. The unit was supposed to be able to sleep more than 2. I had 2 kids with me and there was no bedding for one of them to sleep on the couch. We left a day early. I called the next morning and stated the above issues and was told someone would bring more bedding and clean the unit on Sunday.

Nice hotel close to beach

We truly enjoyed our stay. Love that it is close to the beach for walking. Beautiful little beach community. We will definitely be back next year! The staff was excellent and very friendly.

enjoyed it

we were only passing through abd stayed here for a couple nights to get away, the room wasn't huge but well put together abd very well decotated, checkout was a Lil early at 10 but they gave us extra time after talking to front desk, only complaint really was the separate charge for the house keeping I thought it was a bit high. aside from that it's an amazing property with everything walking distance.
