The location and view were five star. We were literally steps from Pineapple Willy's. The beach chairs and umbrella were included in the stay. Our condo was nicely appointed and comfortable.

We have stayed at Long Beach several times, and overall have always loved the property. The unit we stayed in this time was fine, no problems with the unit itself. The problem was with the rental management group and their failure to tell us when booking or before arrival that there was construction going on in in our tower as well as the neighboring towers. This limited the access to pools. The pool in tower one was completely closed, pool in tower two had half access, only one elevator working in each tower. We completely understand that properties require maintenance and upgrades, and appreciate that Long Beach is doing that. However, I feel that the rental companies should disclose that when booking, and give you the opportunity to either book somewhere else or be discounted if you’re still gonna stay there. All guests should’ve been made aware of the extra noise from construction, limited parking and limited access to the pools.

The property was beautiful and in a great location close to everything! The only issue is there were no blankets or bedspreads on the bed, only sheets, so if you’re cold natured, you will need to bring your own blankets

There were not enough dishes for cooking breakfast for our group. Also the beds were uncomfortable. Otherwise it was good.

The view was amazing. There were several missing blinds so there was no way to darken the bedroom to sleep. The hairdryer was broken and the bed was very uncomfortable

We loved the ocean view, large balcony and privacy. The extra large oval bathtub was very nice. The toilet, however did not work properly. The handle had to be held down in order to flush properly. One element on stove was inoperable. Mattress was way too soft. Thought about removing foam topper because my back hurt so bad. Needs a new mattress or a topper more like memory foam or something, because you just sank in the bed.

Everything was great till Tuesday the day before we had to leave! Two of the young guys that work at the cabana on the beach in front of building III and close to the volleyball net! Came down to the edge of the beach and decided to fish! They cast out their lines in the area we were swimming and hanging out. One of the fishing poles was directly in front of me! We let them know we were not happy and neither were some other people swimming in that area! I said it loud enough for them to hear me and I said if I step on one of those damn hooks I will come and break that damn fishing rod in half! One of the other people in our group also told that if he gets into he will bring it back to them and hand it to them!!

The property needs some updating but was kept fairly clean, pool was clean. One pool was very warm so that made it so handy since it was cooler weather. The room itself needs updates. There was no quilt on the bed and the one guest services brought up smelled like mildew along with the extra pillow cases that were requested. Kitchen and bathroom can use updated cabinets. Headboard on the bed was very loose and kept making noise every time we turned over in the bed. Several Plug ins missing cover plates. Shower curtain and balcony/window curtains had black stains i am guessing from dirty hands. But all in all we had a good time and enjoyed our visit.

Condo was very clean and comfortable, kitchen was well stocked. The view from every room was beautiful! The building is having some work done on the outside but it did not affect our stay. I will definitely book with Southern Vacation Rentals again in the future.

Secure parking. Beautiful view. Plenty of dining options. Walmart and souvenir shop. Wish the giant pool was heated a little. It's nice that the resort is secure but that's too many codes to remember for the room and beach gate.

The photos of the unit were not representative of what we found when we arrived. The furniture was very worn. The cabinets were also. Walls needed painting. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was extra large, which was all good. The whole complex was undergoing renovations, which I knew in advance, but one pool was completely closed and the main pool was limited to half open. I am saying all this because if not improved, people will stop coming.

Bait and switch.

The photos all showed a nice kitchen and living room. I got there and it was an efficiency apartment.I would have NEVER paid that price for basically a hotel room.
