Staff was very friendly. Rooms are very much in need of better upkeep. Not the cleanest. Everything smelled like marijuana. Couldn’t even enjoy the balcony because of it. Bedding was not clean. The elevator kept messing up. Thankfully we were only there for one night.

When I checked in, I was met with a sigh. When I later asked about ice and morning coffee, I felt like I was an interruption. My "gulf front" room was directly behind a closed tiki hut bar and in 2026, what hotel does not have wifi?

Staff were nice, very pleasant workers. Room was dirty, walls were stained all over. Bathroom light kept going in and out, the toilet wouldn’t flush unless you held the lever. For the price, it was okay, but I wouldn’t stay here again in these conditions.

There was an additional fee charged for parking. Expedia advertises all taxes and fees are included in the price paid. Not true here. Beautiful view and convenient to lots of other attractions. Place is good but many small things could really be improved upon. For example, no hook anywhere to hang a towel. We had trouble getting in and out of the door due to previous damage of some nature. Clerk keyed in wrong room number twice upon arrival before we could enter the room. The TV remote would not work. Had to be reprogrammed. Front bedroom did not have a separate a/c and vent fan (that's supposed to pull air from beachside bedroom) did not work. We put the air on 60 degrees and were still warm...I don't know?? We ended up parking across the street because there is not adequate parking on hotel side. It's the little inconvenient things like this. It's not really that bad, just could be better.

The staff checking in were courteous and very nice when we were checking out. We asked for housekeeping our second day there which we got. They did not do a thirough job. We had spilled coffe grounds , some in the sink which they did not clean and they did not refill tissue box which was empty.

Was told they would clean over me room and was asked to get my personal belongings out so they could then i waited 6 hrs bumy the way it was 38 outside and finally got after 6 hrs i went to office and they said the house maids where gone for the dayso i get moved to a new room then want to charge qith with a late fee for someone else cuz the mess up when they entered it in the come pu

The resort is undergoing renovations and things are a bit messy but the staff here is better than great. I went to a nicer place that was more money and wound up coming back here because to me the staff is the most important part of your trip.

Room smelled moldy and the bed could have been better but it was okay for our one day stay. We liked that it was on the beach, it had swinging chairs and a little tiki bar over looking the beach. The staff was nice.

The room its self you can tell they were making improvements and trying to bring it up to date, however there were a lot of things that were small that added up, the front door and balcony door were both challenging to open due to the door sticking, the balcony door had a slide security lock that was installed backwards so it didn’t actually do anything. The curtains for the window weren’t attached fully to the curtain rod so you couldn’t close them all the way. One of the head boards was mounted noticeably not level to the point it was comical. The walls you could see where the paint was stained. The front door had about an inch gap along the bottom that let in quite a draft, ended up putting a towel in front of the door to help stop the draft. The kitchenette would’ve been great if there were actually items to use. There were no utensils to cook with, no pots, no dish towel to dry dishes with, no napkins or paper towels, and no utensils to eat with. They were completing painting and decided to start at around 7:30am being extremely loud yelling back and forth between each other. One last thing which wasn’t the hotels fault but I wouldn’t have booked here if I’d know but the building across the street was being redone and all you heard for 3 days straight was heavy machinery and jack hammers starting at 7am even on Sunday. Honestly I’d give this hotel another chance if they made those improvements you can see they’re actively trying, it has the potential to be great.
