The best part of staying was how convenient the house was in relation to the pool. However, the home itself is very outdated and lacked some basic things like a frying pan. The carpet was completely worn out and starting to curl up in the master bedroom. The top of the tile in the master shower was filthy. The grill had leftover pieces of whatever was cooked on it last. In its current condition I would not recommend this house to anyone. It's unfortunate considering we paid nearly 3000 dollars to stay in the house. I will say the bikes were okay.

Fantastic lodging and location

We had a wonderful time at Splish Splash. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool is right off the back porch and easy to access, and the beach was similarly easy to walk to (or use the trams). Property management was quick to respond and very helpful if we needed anything.

Yuck

We decided to pay no attention to the other reviews. They were right! The carpet and rugs in this place were gross, as well as the kitchen. Appliances were fine but the paint was peeling off the cabinets. Spend some money and update the living room for a family. My allergies were a wreck the whole time. Would NOT recommend to an enemy.

The property is in an ideal location. Needs lots of updates.

This rental is in a perfect location. Ideal. Communication was also top notch however, this rental needs extensive updating. It could be painted and cleaned and look entirely different. It is very dirty. Numerous issues throughout the rental. I would stay here again, however hoping some changes will be made soon. I have read many reviews and some are years old and say the same things. This should be addressed. I’m surprised the rental company would rent a property this unkept. It sticks out from the others because it looks so much worse. All in all, a lovely vacation in a perfect area. Very disappointed in the appearance of the home. Paint and hardware would go a LONG way.

Worst house in a great area

The location is great, property abuts the pool. The house itself leaves a lot to be desired. The owner of the house needs to invest some money into it. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a falling kitchen cabinet door, carpet that looks 20 years old with stains and generally old/cheap fixtures and finishes. You could find better and more comfortable furniture at goodwill. If the owner was willing to invest about 2 weeks' worth of rental fees back into the property, it could be pretty nice.

Overall we loved our short visit. The house is prime location and opens to the pool which was great! The house and outdoor furniture def. Needs some updating. The carpet is very stained, the cushions outside on the chairs is molded and torn, and a few chairs rusted. The layout of the furniture in the living room is a little awkward. A little TLC and it will be Perfect!

Filthy-worst rental ever

This was the filthiest place we have ever stayed at. I would label it as down right disgusting and an embarrassment. It was so bad we didn’t even take our shoes off inside the house. We are long time visitors of 30A and this was hands down not worth the money. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. There was mold and mildew in the bathrooms and kitchen. Hair everywhere. We had to go buy cleaning products and clean the entire place. The appliances are very old and some of them didn’t work. The dryer shuts off after 5 minutes and won’t restart until it cools down, the doors are broken in the closets. The list is long. I have plenty of pictures that we took when we got there. I can’t even begin to describe the filth of the carpets, throw rugs, sinks, bathrooms. I can’t believe that Oversee even represents this home owner. The only reason we didn’t leave is because we could not find another accommodation while we were there. Trust me, we tried. It was that bad.

Convenient and Cute

Cute place right off the pool and convenient to the beach and restaurants. We never had to use the car except for groceries! The bedding and appointments are pretty basic (and worn) but the price reflects that and it was perfect for our needs. The management was very efficient and the property felt safe.

Awesome little place with great location but..

The place is great for a family but we stayed about an hour because we found black mold on the ceiling. The place just needs to be updated and it would be the perfect stay for a family being right at the pool and very close to everything else. I will say the management company was wonderful to work with and extremely attentive. From now on we will only rent from Oversee.

Nice place but needs maintenance

The location is great with the pool in your back yard, and the house size was just right for 4 adults, however it needs maintenance and upgrades. It appears the roof has leaked multiple times since there are several water spots on the ceiling. The washer and dryer need replacing. The dryer stopped several time in the middle of a cycle with clothes still wet, and required several minute cool down before it would start again. The tile counter tops are worn and need replacing and paint is peeling off kitchen and bathroom cabinets. The bottom is falling out of one kitchen drawer.

Moved to different cottage

This cottage was a huge disappointment. The location was exceptional but the property was in very poor condition. Every cabinet was chipped, there was mold on the kitchen ceiling, the master bedroom carpet was stained and curling, the bathtubs were stained and the white fridge was so old that the handles were yellowed. We contacted the property manager and they had us in a different cottage within two hours. They also made a list of repairs needed for the property. I have no complaints with the property managers, they were very understanding.

Splish Splash

This property is in a great location, but is extremely outdated. The appliances and furniture are very old. The house was not nearly as clean as we expected upon arrival. The sofa sleeper was extremely uncomfortable. We only stayed for a short time, so it was ok. This rental would not satisfy a weekly stay. We were not able to ride the bikes....tires were flat and they were broken. Loved that it was connected to the pool and very close to a tram stop.

Fall break

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Splish Splash. The oversee property management is great to work with. This house is in the best location. You walk right out onto the pool and it’s just a few minutes to the beach. There’s Trolley stops on both sides. We went with people who stayed in different houses. After seeing those houses Splish Splash could use some serious updating. The tubs and floors could use a great bleaching. We didn’t report those things. We weren’t in the house much so it didn’t matter, but if you like fancy I wouldn’t stay here. We loved the location and Seacrest and will definitely be back!

Great family location

We loved our stay at Splish Splash! The Seacrest pool and beach tram make it a great location for a young family like ours. We had a couple maintenance issues with appliances but the management was very prompt, responsive and helpful. Hope we can vacation here again in the future!

Great, relaxing stay.

We stayed here with our two boys, 7 and 3, and could not have asked for a better location. The green space and pool right outside the back porch was wonderful. The walk to the beach is super quick, we didn't think using a tram was worth the short wait. We used the grill on the front porch to grill out several times during the week. We usually find our boys unwilling to relax at the beach, but the setup made for a great week. Highly recommend this place.
