    You'll be staying mere steps away from the sugar-white sands and emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico, the perfect spot for beachgoers and families alike. Grab your beach chair and put on some sunscreen before heading down to the beach to work on your tan, build sandcastles, swim, or simply relax. We really enjoyed our stay overall. The unit itself was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The beds were very comfortable, and the fully stocked kitchen was a huge plus—it had everything we needed. The location was also excellent and made it easy to get to everything we wanted to do.The only downside was the elevator situation. Although the property advertises new high-speed elevators, during our stay two of the main elevators were out of service, and the parking garage elevator was also down. This resulted in extremely long wait times, often 20–30 minutes just to get back to our room, regardless of the time of day. The elevators were consistently overcrowded, which became frustrating after a long day out.Aside from the elevator issues, we had a great stay. If the elevator situation is resolved, I would definitely consider staying here again.

The property has a lot more wear and tear than the pictures show. I knew about that before booking due to some informative reviews. These reviews however were a year or so old, so the problems have not been addressed in years. Both the master bath shower and sinks were very clogged and would take forever to drain, which is unacceptable and a sanitary issue. The furniture is dated, and worn out, The beds were less than desirable and uncomfortable. The appliances definitely need an upgrade as well. This spot would be perfect for some younger people that are going to spend more time out and about than trying to relax. The building was hit or miss as well. We had some wonderful experiences with staff and then some not great experiences. A gentleman that worked at the cafe was the rudest person I've met in a long time. I have sympathy for considering what he is up against, but still unacceptable to treat people like he did me for asking for napkins. The elevators are obviously and issues with a 30 story building at peak season, and one shaft was down the entire week we were there. The room being on the 27th floor made things interesting in that regard, but we had pretty good luck with or timing.Pools and beach access were great, the tiki bar at the east pool is a great thing for adults who need a cocktail and don't want to deal with elevators 20 somethings, book this place. Families, proceed with caution, or find another unit in Tidewater that is on a lower floor.
