The view was great. Location is ideal. The unit was filthy. I had to go buy cleaning products and clean the unit myself the day we arrived. It was gross. It was no surprise that we found cockroaches in the bedroom. It desperately needs renovation. There was mold in the bathrooms and the faucets and toilets ran or leaked nonstop. The owner needs to invest in the unit as it’s in a sad state of disrepair.

We had a wonderful time. The pool was heated and felt like bath water. The ocean was calm, with beautiful views from the condo. Easy parking. Comfy beds. We will be booking this condo again in the future!

The condo was beautiful as well as the beach but, they could’ve given us a heads up on the construction going on right next door to us. All week from 9-4 you couldn’t stay in your room due to the jack hammers. You couldn’t hear yourself think if you stayed inside. And the owners wouldn’t help us.

Tub holds water in shower and drips. The toilet Bowl had gray water in it when we arrived like house keeping didn’t clean it. The fridge shook when you opened door. The condo just needed updating. I wouldn’t rent it again.

Our check in was delayed as the condo wasn’t clean yet at 4:00 check in time. It was a bit musty but could tell it had been cleaned, other than under the beds. We really enjoyed the condo set up and location. There are a few maintenance type issues such as a fridge that needs attention, as well as the tubs constantly dripped water. Overall we had a wonderful experience.

We really enjoyed the condo. The condominium was not busy. You didn’t have to stand in line to wait on elevators like you do with many other condominiums. The beach was not crowded in our section. I thought the living room and kitchen were both nice with a great view of the beach. The beds were comfortable. No complaints.

Best stay at Edgewater

This is my family's fifth time staying at the Edgewater resort and this condo was by far the cleanest and well maintained to date.

First beach vacation

Right on the beach with unobstructed views. The weather conditions were marginal this time of year but no crowds to deal with. Probably would not go during the busy time of year.

Loved the room!!

The room was very roomy, great view, loved not having to deal with elevators & being able to park close! Only complaint was construction right above our room at 9am that lasted all day

Stay was pleasant.

Overall our stay was good. Had a hiccup on check-in and had to wait over an hour for someone to come and get our front door lock temporarily fixed. They came back on Sun. morning when he said he would be there and fixed the lock...no more problems the rest of our stay. It was very clean upon arrival.The week-end traffic was busy and noisy that you could hear in the bedrooms. It sounds as though I am really complaining, but everything I have mentioned was out of the owners control.

A few extras

The resort was really nice a few strange rules for the pool, ex: moving chairs. The owners need to add a few things. Extra trash bags, toliet paper, another blow dryer in 2nd bathroom. Non slip mat in tubs. Either fill ice trays or turn on ice maker when they know someone is coming in.

Never again

Poor management- called daily complaining about the jack hammer noise below us! Should coordinate repairs like that with paying guests. No later than 9:00am for 4 days until 4:00pm. Couldn’t even carry on a conversation with someone! Caused headaches and we had to leave the condo just to get away from it. I’m handicapped and had not planned on getting out as much as I did but we had no choice. Called property management every day…. Every day I got a different person that said the same thing as the day before that they would look into it and call me back. Our vacation was ruined because of the imposition of having to leave the noise was so loud. One kitchen towel and dish rag is all they provide and who ever cleaned it left DIRTY DISHES in the dishwasher! Shall I go on????

The perfect location

We felt very comfortable with most everything at 101 Windward. Loved the kitchen which was well stocked. Several items need some TLC. The master bath needs to be updated. The tub is cracked and the sink is without a stopper. The refrigerator is missing a foot and is propped up with a wad of paper. The beds only had sheets when we arrived and the heat had to be turned on but both of these items were taken care of in good time. None of these things kept us from having a good time.We would like to return..

NOT EXCITED AS IT LOOKS

Condo was dirty! Just needs to be updated very bad. Furniture was very dirty and needs to be replaced VERY BAD!
