Was very clean the gentleman that worked at the front desk when we checked in was very good he told us where all the restaurants were at nearby. Very very helpful.
This motel is currently under renovation. The outside looks a little bit sketchy but I can see the vision. We got to say inside a freshly renovated room and it was comfortable and clean. Every encounter with a staff member was a good experience. They were friendly, accommodating, and professional. We will stay here again.
I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very nice and clean, and although the hotel is currently undergoing some renovations, it wasn’t a big deal at all and didn’t affect my stay. I really appreciated that the room came with a coffee machine, which was a great touch.
The check-in process was quick and easy, and the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. He even offered me two bottles of water, which I really appreciated after traveling.
The only downside was that the AC was a little loud, but other than that, everything was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!
Room was kind of old but the staff did offer for me to move on the second night to a newly remodeled room but I wasn't in the room that much and didn't feel it was necessary to pack up and move but it was nice that it was offered to me.
Exceptionally helpful and friendly folks at the front desk. Location is convenient, walking distance to California Avenue and short drive/bike ride to Stanford. Room was very comfortable and quiet.
Super nice and helpful. I think his name was Nate? started with N. front desk guy- he was very welcoming and nice. The property was clean and adequate. I would stay there again. However, I wish they would use matress encasements. I am paranoid about bedbugs and would of felt more at ease if those were used -There were no signs of bugs.
I am one of those people who rip off bedding and inspect... again, I would of felt more comfortable seeing those in place.
Very good price for the area. Front desk staff friendly. Yes, some things (like outdoor carpeting) are showing their age, but everything is clean. Simple breakfast available in the office, and pleasant seating outside.
Clean rooms, quiet area, friendly staff and plenty of parking

Very nice staff it was close to Stanford Medical Center however the room had been upgraded and did not have hooks to hang your towels and some of the light fixtures did not work. The room was clean.
The hotel staff is excellent and tried hard to meet our needs. We needed a downstairs unit and they were happy to find one for us. We were only there for one night as we had to be at the hospital early the next morning so we didn’t eat breakfast the next day. The motel is old but our unit was clean, had a refrigerator and a microwave and was reasonable.
Staff, both evening and morning, were exceptional. The property is older but well maintained. Wonderful amenities including refrigerator with freezer, stove, free parking, well placed outlets and complimentary continental breakfast. I appreciate the medical discount offering.
Everything was great. It's a family owned since 1973. Still has that 70's look on the outside and some rooms still have that look. They are remodeling their rooms discreetly and they will be doing the same to the exterior. Neil is the owners so and he is very personable he also runs the front desk and is there for his customers. They also have adequate parking, ice machine and a very nice continental breakfast. A great stay.
