"This is an absolutely gorgeous property. Very well situated for exploring Santa Monica and near all the amenities like beach, shopping restaurants, etc. Room is lovely and bed very comfortable and hotel is very quiet as well. The only slight problem we had was that we visited during an immense heatwave and the hotel has no air conditioning. It was okay for sleeping with the fans and windows open and I imagine this is a non issue any other time due to it's close proximity to the ocean. Loved that there was a kitchenette as well."

"Assorted carpets and upholstery showed signs of wear and tear. Overall, though, very comfortable and clean. Pillows were lumpy but bed, with a stylish fabric headboard, was blissful. Bathroom was spotless; great shower head. Water is precious in L.A., I know, but windows needed washing! Delicious morning coffee in the lobby. Super friendly staff. So a mixed bag of tricks. I would stay again but would hope for some more refurbishing."

"Cute property. My daughter and I were traveling together and felt very safe.They were very responsive and great to work with.However,I missed the reviews about no AC - luckily our second night it was cooler, however, the first night was very hot and stuffy. My daughter’s seasonal allergies prevented us from opening the windows - so it was a complete sleepless night. And we avoided showering to prevent the heat and added humidity. This would prevent me from recommending."

"We rented this villa for a girl's weekend in, & the place was immaculately clean 7 just as described. The photos do not include all the bedrooms, but there was definitely attention to detail in the design of everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, & would consider staying again with a large group. However, we did have some issues that are worth noting.Firstly, the listing clearly advertises the possibility of early check-in for an extra fee. I contacted the host several times regarding setting this up, & was given the run around, even after reaching out within the 24 hour window they requested, I would have liked a straight answer.Secondly, the property needed to be better maintained. The first night we had to go out & buy batteries because the cinema remote batteries were dead, and wouldn't operate the screen. The spa also would not heat, but luckily it was already a warm day so it wasn't too much of an issue. The second day, the bathroom on the main floor began to leak from the toilet seating area. We just turned off the water in that bathroom. The third day, I woke up the bathroom on the lower floor completely flooded (presumably from the bathroom above). Overall, the hosts responded within 1-4 hours of these issues being brought to their attention, but nothing was done to remedy this and it just seemed like an extra burden on us during the stay. This place was expensive & we shouldn't have run into all these issues. But like I said, we still enjoyed our stay!"
