An idyllic escape embodying rustic charm of Tuscany lies this 4 bedroom and 4 bathroom newly renovated villa. The heart of Renaissance art, rolling hills dotted with cypress trees, medieval towns, world class wines, offering a perfect blend of history, breathtaking views, landscapes, and exceptional foods. Podere di Valle embraces the countryside of central Tuscany located approximately 3.5 km from center of Palaia. An 11.11 acre property, Podere di Valle includes a private pool, olive groves, fruit trees,BBQ grill, and vineyard,
The east patio is perfect for coffee alfresco in the morning, an apertivo in afternoon on west patio. Breakfast, lunch and or dinners are amazing on the large veranda. The veranda is also perfect area to enjoy timeless Italian sunsets and plan your next days events.
Podere di Valle is located within a 1 hour drive to major attractions like San Gimignano, Volterra and Florence and the beach. 30 minutes from Pisa and Livorno. The small quaint villages of Palaia, Peccoli, Terricciola and Lajatico are just a 10-15 min drive. Several grocery stores, family owned and operated wineries with tastings and local restaurants, including 2 Michelin starred are all within 20 minute drive.
If you love to cook Podere di Valle has a fully equipped gourmet kitchen.
The Pontedera train station is a mere 20 minute drive. This train station will give you access to just about anywhere in Italy. Venice, Bologna, Rome, Florence, Milan and more.

We stayed at this property in August 2025 with 6 adults and 1 infant. The owner provided a pack n play for the baby which was much appreciated! Overall, this was a nice tuscan villa located on a picturesque property with great views of the countryside, open floor plan to hang with other guests, and access to many tuscan towns within 1 hour. Plus the owner & welcome/check out teams are very responsive too!

Our group had a wonderful stay at the villa and in this area. The home itself was perfect, comfortable, and well maintained, and experienced beautiful landscape and sunsets. The location of the villa is proximate to multiple excellent restaurants and day trips. We loved our stay!

Great family get away!

This house was lovely. There was plenty of space to spread out, screens on all windows to enjoy the breeze, beautiful Tuscany views from the comfortable balcony, and a wonderful new pool. The host was responsive, and we enjoyed our stay. The water pressure was great, and there was a good amount of comfortable furnishings, supplies, etc. The only challenge we had was that the internet was spotty at times and in some places, but the reality is we were there for R&R, so I am not sure that was actually a bad thing. Would definitely consider staying here again if in the area. We really enjoyed the place. The pool was incredible!

The villa is located on a hill with breathtaking views of olive trees and rolling hills. Location is closer to the Palaia village and the nearest rail station. It was difficult to find the villa on the first day, you need to be able to get directions from the property manager after you reach the Palaia village. The welcome basket was lovely and the property manager, Mr. was very helpful. You need a car with good driving skill. The property is new with high end furniture/fittings, linen, well equipped kitchen. The enclosed back verandah is with furnished sit-out and dining area with breath taking views of the sunset. It is surrounded with safe walking and biking paths. It is reasonably priced. You can visit surrounding areas including Florence and a Michelin recommended restaurant, Papaveri e Papere, very reasonably priced. There are excellent dining areas in the Palaia village but reservation is a must. 5 days or more stay is a must to take in the beauty of the Villa and Tuscany.
