The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location close to the seafront, the pier, the harbour, the parks, pubs, restaurants, souvenir shops, steam railway, train and bus station made it the perfect place to stay for a seaside holiday. I only ordered the breakfast, not evening meals, the dining room was nice and the food was very good. I recommend it.

Loved the view of the sea from the bedroom window in the morning. The hotel's location is perfect, the room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was very nice too.

Hotel & Room could do with updating, lamp broke by bed and some damp in the corners of the room... but otherwise good. Evening meal was amazing and lovely breakfast... staff lovely Entertainment in the evening was really good all in all had a wonderful time. free parking and close to beach and town.

Food was really good. Had 3 course evening meal and 3 course breakfast. We were really happy with food and room. Building a bit tired but it’s understandable for age of it. Only downside had a yappy dog next door to us.

Warm welcome on arrival, nice clean comfy room with a sea view. The hotel is in a great location across the road from the beach and a one minute walk from Torbay Road with the shops and places to eat. We had the evening meal in the hotel which was lovely and a great price also the breakfast was very nice the next morning. Would stay here again.

Perfect location by the beach and centre of town. The room was big enough for us and the beds were comfy. The hotel is a bit dated, however it was clean and had a nice lounge area with live entertainment each night which we enjoyed.

A basic hotel where you get what you pay for. No problems with the staff or accommodation and it's a great location for the sea front and town. A limited car park but there's plenty of on street parking at a cost. Overall a pleasant stay

The price was very reasonable for a 4 star property but it certainly did not feel 4 star as the property was very tired and in need of a refresh and update. Also disappointing that the wifi did not reach our room. However the staff were attentive and friendly and the location perfect for the seafront
