"Guests mugged in hotel parking garage by an unhoused man. Not a safe area! NO COFFEE available during breakfast. Staff said they needed to find a key to coffeemaker for 3 hours. No attempt to otherwise provide coffee at our location included breakfast. "

"Our key did not work with 3 trips from lobby to 4th floor. A very kind front desk worker came with us on the 3rd attempt to see what was wrong. He enlisted an unapologetic manager to finally determine that maintenance was required. I asked if we could get a drink voucher or something to compensate us for our inconvenience. She said she had "run out of drink chips." "

"The hosts were very responsive and clearly this business is important to them. And there is another unit (# 1 to rent) downstairs so there are at least 2 properties in their portfolio. Unfortunately I’m quite unhappy with what I received in terms of a rental property for my vacation. I envisioned being able to cook/host my daughter and son-in-law for dinner at least once this past week but given the conditions I was given, I would never do it. The upkeep on the property is poor. I’ll just leave it at that. The minimum standard for any rental should include fresh painted walls, fresh bathroom and kitchen fixtures/surfaces etc., and pretty much everything here is at least 15-20 years old, and I’m being kind. Given my experience and cost for rental not matching value, I’m asking for a partial refund. I think 33% is fair. The place can certainly be classified as a dump. Cracks and stains everywhere. Peeled paint, dry wall repairs everywhere with no paint. It’s a total contradiction. Owners who are attentive to the renter relationship but doing virtually nothing for upkeep. The sheets were old, bedspread old (and a bit smelly). Honestly gross. I have 15 or so pictures to attach to show the conditions, but I don’t know how to upload them. "
