"Lovely and spacious accomodation, with full amenities. Great location just minutes from an excellent large beach (with its own well catered facilities); a shop / cafe and tap bar just 5 mins walk away; and a bus that goes into Padstow that passes nearby. Also a large supermarket 5 mins drive away. The development of cottages that the property is located on, is very well maintained (as is the property itself) and quiet."

"I’d read bad reviews after booking so I was very worried. But we got a basic, decent chalet in a good location. It was quiet and safe. It needs a deep clean, mould on curtains, and cobwebs everywhere, but everything else was very clean. It was fine for the price we paid. Sykes cottages manage this chalet, but it’s Atlantic Bays reception, and they won’t know anything about your booking. We hadn’t been told our chalet number so couldn’t go to it until I’d rung Sykes (who didn’t have it on their system either) and waited for them to call the owner and call me back. Signal is poor so that was worrying. Find your chalet number before you arrive. WiFi isn’t free, you pay per device, but our chalet had good enough signal to use our phones. We were only given one roll of toilet paper, and no toiletries or oil/salt etc. I would have no problem staying here again, for a budget trip."

"When I arrived very early, they made my check in so easy and let me have the room well before lunchtime no extra cost. The food was excellent. I had breakfast and evening meal there. Food quality, and price was good. Room was very comfortable. Very clean shower and towels were nice. Highly recommend it would definitely stay there again."

"The hotel is in the perfect spot, right in the harbour. The room was massive and well equipped with a lovely view. The building is obviously extremely old which has its limitations on decor etc but we had an amazing time there. Would recommend."
