Holiday Inn Golden Gateway by IHG

"Great location and a convenient base for exploring San Francisco! We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn during our visit to San Francisco. The hotel was in a fantastic location and made a great base for exploring the city. Our rental car was unfortunately too tall for the hotel’s parking garage, but we found another parking garage just two blocks away, which was really convenient and worked out well for us. The hotel was also close to Pier 39 and other attractions. We decided to leave the car parked and used Waymo taxis to get around the city, which made exploring San Francisco really easy. Overall, a great hotel in an excellent location. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting San Francisco!"

"This will be my 2nd time staying here with my family. The place in general is nice. Location is right next to the park. Provides a shuttle every 30 mins to the park. Has gym, pool, and full bar. Overall I was very satisfied. I gave 4 out of 5 because there is a certain smell in the location. Not too appealing for first timers. The rooms are a little out dated."

"Perfect for the family! Great pool, great beach access, walking distance to do so much. Spacious rooms. Very clean! If you are washing baby bottles/preparing food for littles, counter space in the room was limited but other than that the rooms were great. Lovely partial ocean view, good sized balcony. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The property is nice, clean, and an easy location. We loved the bunk bed suites for the kids. The breakfast was good too. The only downside was the walls were not very sound proof - we could hear everything from the rooms next to us. The kids late at night, very early in the mornings, and running back and forth. We have stayed at many hotels in the area and this was the loudest we have had."
