"Gorgeous Scenery, very beautiful property with nice pools and some minimal path to walk around, Most of the staff are very kind and helpful, A lot of them are overworked and look burned out though. Long elevator wait due to one of the elevators not working and they never fixed it - Food is good and clean - Hibatchi was great, the steak restaurant took 1hr 20 min each time to bring our main course.We overall enjoyed the stay but it’s over charged for the price."

"I was a little hesitant because a lot of negative reviews on here about the food. And also on other social media platforms the main reason a lot of people didn't like the riu was because again the food. I have to say the food was the best food I've had at a resort. So fresh delicious and it's served as a buffet style breakfast lunch and dinner! I will say the only down side is they close the pools a little too early, but I also understand when alcohol is around but the pools are open from 10-7 . Also the pools are a little to warm not cold at all. I also wanna mention that the staff is so helpful so caring they restock your mini fridge daily with soda water and anything you need th staff is super attentive. Even if you had a little too much to drink they will take you out the pool and wheel you back to your room or lay you down on the pool beds. The location is a little far from the malecón but uber is super affordable I am super impressed But over all I'll be returning to this riu and next year hopefully going to riu Cancun!"
