「Good quiet location, but easy access to Paarl town facilities and to the main N1 road. Spotlessly clean, great breakfasts and Lu is a very sweet person who makes you feel immediately at home - I would thoroughly recommend Lu's as a place to stay whilst visiting the area.」

「This place is a favorite of ours, and we keep on returning. You are well taken care of by the staff and owners, the grounds are very beautiful and the it is a quiet oasis. It is easy to get an uber to explore some of the stunning restaurants and vineyards close by. If you want to stay at the hotel all day, they offer great food as well upon requsest」

The gardens and farm are not a performance - at over 2000 acres and something like 700 staff they somehow manage to seamlessly blend luxury with genuine production, and the variety is extraordinary. 「Nuwerus was one of the "fortunate" yet "unfortunate" places in Paarl that was "hit" hard with the recent fires. It was so close to the main buildings that I can only descibe it as hair-raising. Yet although you can see the fire damage to the gardens etc the service was once again spot-on and the facilities as clean and well appointed as we are used to. The owners really does care about the customers as well as the property. Well done is all I can say. Already booked my next stay.」

「Huge room, perfect if juggling WFH as I was. Nice kitchenette, all mod-cons. Spacious balcony. This place is above regular hotel standard, by size! The food in nearby Club house was superb. 」
