What a lovely, charming home! And on the beach, cant ask for more than that! My only comment would be that the kitchen could be a bit better stocked. Other than that, will definitely book again!

Another wonderful stay!

This is our second time staying here & it was wonderful! We got hit with some super gusty winds while there, but besides that it was a good stay! Location is amazing - right on the beach (which is pretty quiet) and near grocery stores and restaurants.

Great location

Loved the location right in the sand and close to grocery stores and local restaurants. Appreciate the binder with local information - the recommended sushi place was a favorite. We could hear the sea lions barking from the house and they’re a short walk away on the beach!

The perfect little beach house

This is the perfect little beach house. The house is so comfortable and the beach decor is so cute. All of the furniture including beds and couches are super comfortable. The place was very clean and we'll maintained. The best part is that you are right on the sand. I literally can't wait to go again!

Calm little cottage by the sea.

The location could not get better with this sweet little home. The home was perfect for our needs. It was an easy check in process. The home was clean and well thought out for guests. They left a handy information book that was impressive. The space felt like home. I would recommend this home.

Magic on the beach!

My favorite spot was the breakfast nook with bench seating. It was perfect for eating as well as doing work on my laptop. The house is very clean and cozy plus so peaceful with the beach right at my doorstep. I took many walks and loved that there was a market nearby. Thank you for sharing this perfect spot.

Nothing beats looking out your window to see a beautiful stretch of quiet white beach. The home was stocked very well, clean, updated, and comfortable. We walked to the marina and enjoyed several of the nearby eateries and the Sunday Farmer's Market. Would love to return here again soon. Hollywood beach cottage

The neighborhood was great, and safe. Excellent location. However, there were not enough towels and washcloths for the duration of our stay. Sheets were not fresh. Overall, odor of all linens was not fresh/clean. The age and condition of home was showing. It was a good experience overall but for the price I might have elected to stay at a home with a better view and more luxury.

Nice weekend at the beach

The house was nice, had a few glitches… When you sat in the living room, you can't see the water because the sand is higher than the window. Also, no electrical outlet in the bathroom and most of the electrical outlets in the house are very loose, so it was hard to keep anything plugged in. But the furniture was comfortable, kitchen was nice, no air-conditioning, but windows were opened and it was fine. Great location, great dog friendly beach.

The perfect weekend

My family and I really enjoyed our weekend getaway. The fireplace was my absolute favorite and made relaxing in the living room more pleasant. The neighborhood was very quiet. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook all our meals. One plus, was the dishwasher - which in my experience is not a standard feature in past homes we've rented. My children loved that they were able to walk right out on the sand. There was even sand toys available for them to use. My children are already asking when they can go back to the the blue beach house!

Perfect Beach Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been vacationing on Hollywood Beach for two decades. We love the laid-back, unpretentious vibe of the area. The beach is quiet, and you feel like you're on vacation, although not too isolated because there are businesses within walking distance. I especially enjoy taking a morning stroll over to Honey Cup Coffeehouse. Usually we rent a much larger house to fit the entire family, but this time it was just four of us. The Ca "sea" ta on the Sand is the perfect spot for a couple or small family. Bonus: this property allows pets, so we were able to take our small dog. Truly, it had everything we needed for a relaxing few days at the beach. The kitchen is very small, but it has the essentials, including a coffee maker and blender. Everything was clean and well-organized. If you've never stayed at this beach, just be aware that the walk to the water from the houses is a bit of a distance; I only mention because my elderly parents could not make it that far, although they still enjoyed the view sitting right outside the house. The outdoor space is lovely, with Adirondack chairs facing the ocean and a spacious side patio with a picnic bench. We had access to beach towels and beach chairs as well as boogie boards. There is a washer/dryer in the garage if you need to do laundry. Communication with Remax Gold Coast is always easy. They respond quickly to any questions. We are already talking about returning to this property for another stay.

We knew that the "cottage type" houses in the neighborhood had mostly been torn down and "mega mansions" had replaced them because the friend we brought with us had grown up in the area years ago. It was better than perfect for 3 of us and our dog. Our friend is a cook which makes it even better. We went to the farmers mkt & bought food to cook so we could stay home w/our dog. And my husband got to go fishing right in front of the house.

What a gem! This charming little beach bungalow is full of character and has everything you need for a perfect getaway. The patio opens directly onto the sand—such an incredible feature! And the large picture window in the living room offers an epic view you’ll never get tired of.If I had one minor suggestion, it would be to update the linens—fresh towels, sheets, and bedding would really elevate the experience. But overall, this place was absolutely perfect for our little family!

Beautiful place on the beach

I had an amazing stay at this rental property. Everything was very clean, the beds were comfy, and the kitchen is perfect for cooking small meals. The best part of it all is the location, right on the beach, and superb for surfing. Would love to come back and visit again!
