Room was clean but bathroom tap was very stiff, difficult to open and close the tap. A Bathroom a bit dated. Staff were very helpful, dinner was amazing and so was the service we did not have breakfast, bar & the staff were great. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful.

We stayed in one of the older buildings which was great and had a unique feel to it. It did make controlling the temperature and ac a little trickier during the recent heatwave though. Bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean with a decent shower.

The experience depends hugely on the room you get and whether there's a wedding. Someone with a sense of humour assigned number 101 to the room closest to the wedding venue, and alas, this is what we got. YMCA, 500 miles etc was on the go until midnight, and we were awoken at 7am by the excited chatter of the bridesmaids for the next wedding, fully audible through the cardboard walls. To be fair the staff dealt with the issue very well when we complained. With zero fuss, we were moved to a room in Brook House, and this was much better. They also refunded the £10/night parking (which to be honest is a swindle anyway, because how else are you getting there). Breakfast is a buffet, Premier Inn style, but decent quality. However, the dining room isnt big enough, so unless you go at the crack of dawn it's likely you'll queue. Dinner in the restaurant is decent. The pool is small but there werent many people in it when we went in the mornings.

Nice hotel lovely setting. Room was nice. Breakfast was ample and good choice. Pool facilities were nice but shower out of use. No bathrobes in bedroom or slippers had to get reception to deliver them they were not held at dos pool either other than that a very pleasant stay
