Port Meadow is lovely for a walk, cycle or picnic amongst the buttercups, horses and cows - an ancient common land surprisingly near the middle of Oxford! Wander along the Oxford Canal. There's a great playground for children just over the canal, on Aristotle Lane. Climbing frames for various ages, football pitch and basketball hoop.

Christ Church College and Cathedral: Founded by Henry VIII and featured in a number of films and TV shows, including the Harry Potter franchise. Stunning, must-see Romanesque and Gothic architecture.

Radcliffe Camera/Bodleian Old Library: One of Oxford’s most iconic landmarks, home to one of Europe’s oldest libraries. Make sure to book a tour in advance to have a look inside the Baroque dome.

The Ashmolean Museum: The world's first university museum, founded in 1683. Free collections range from Egyptian mummies to contemporary art. Terrific views of the picturesque Oxford spires from the Rooftop Restaurant.

Pitt Rivers Museum: Displaying half a million objects from the archaeological and anthropological collections of the University, part of the Natural History Museum.

Punting: This classic Oxford experience down the River Cherwell or Isis (the local name for the Thames) should not be missed! Hire a boat—chauffeured, if you prefer!–at the Magdalen Bridge Boathouse.

Oxford Botanic Garden: Founded in 1621 as a physic garden growing plants for medicinal research, it’s the oldest garden of its kind in Great Britain and home to 5,000-plus plant species as well as a lovely riverside cafe, where you can watch the punts go by.

Although you will have private access to the entire apartment, please note at times you may be able to hear the tenants in the apartment above, who are super lovely and respectful! Just pop us a message if you need us to pass any requests on to them.

PARKING
Unfortunately there isn't parking on premise however the city centre and bus and train station are very easily accessible by foot, bus and taxi. Please check out 'JustPark' online for affordable, nearby parking solutions if required.

AMENITIES
- The fireplace is not for use, just aesthetics.
- The under floor heating is available in the kitchen bathroom and hallways.
- You will need to use your own login details to access the on-demand apps such as Netflix and Prime.

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
