Perfectly fine for a low budget, quick stay. The club noise wasnt as bad as expected and our room was one of the refurbed ones so was spotless and comfortable.

Decent property in Oxford, clean and staff was friendly and helpful. No elevator and no AC which is probably not usually a big deal but in the recent heat waves it’s pretty bad. Very central location!

I was a bit apprehensive after reading the review, but honestly this was fine for my needs. My room was modernised and very clean, decent size shower and comfortable bed. The communal areas need some updating but it looks like this is in progress.

The room was better than the main doors and reception of the hotel. But really want Great mold stain on pillow, bold blood stain on bed quilt, cushions had white stains on them. Hallway smelt of ciaagtte. Didn't go to the pub below. So can't rate it. Was only an 8 min walk from the shopping centre so that was amazing.

The location and price of the hotel are excellent. The young man who greated us was very nice and our rooms were clean and modern. It’s not the Four Seasons but I think it was fine for the price considering everything else in Oxford Town Center is double the price or more. The rooms are above a nightclub which had loud music until 1:30 AM. The entrance to the hotel is very hard to find with only a paper sign on the door. There was a larger commercial cooler case in the small foyer which led to steps with old carpet and missing hand rails. Again, not perfect but great location and price.

I will never stay in this hotel again. Although inexpensive by Oxford hotel prices, you get what you pay for and it is not worth it. I asked for the quietest room - hahaha. The surrounding nightclubs and the bar below are full on until after 1am! And there is no sound proofing between rooms and I had noisy neighbours too! As you enter the hotel, the carpet on the stairs is filthy and the corridor smells. The room itself was clean enough but no side table and poor quality mattress and pillows. So be warned, unless you don’t care about noise or comfort, don’t stay here.

this hotel is a bit rundown to say the least. its perfect for location, and for our needs of a night at the theatre next door, ideal. i would not stay there any longer, the place is a generous 3 star!!

Convenient Location

A central location next to the bus station and adjacent to a bar (once The Welsh Pony public house). I needed to be in the city overnight so it suited my needs. The room was clean and well ordered. Not a glamorous establishment but ok if you are passing through. Convenient for an early morning coach to London or the airports or a late night kebab

Room fairly represented photos on line. Bed comfortable. Decor good. Bathroom adequate but cold and without heat. Heating in bedroom an electric radiator set at 35'c but struggled to cope, very hot to touch. Let down by very seedy common parts \ entrance and smell. Adjacent club bar under very noisy \ boisterous. Choosing ones own room code and inputting to the operators mobile was disconcerting. Loft access meant room insecure. Clearly the operator is trying hard to achieve decent standards over time. Currently not a star worthy premises.
