"This place honestly felt pretty ghetto. I understand it’s on the cheaper side so I wasn’t expecting luxury, but some things were still ehhh When we arrived there wasn’t even a trash can in the restroom and the shampoo bottles were empty. We mentioned it downstairs and nothing was really done about it. We stayed for two days and not once did anyone come to clean the room. The pool area was worse. People were blasting music so loud you couldn’t even hear yourself think. The whole area smelled like mold, there were worms around, and the pool looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. No towels at all in the pool and barely any in the room.  The ice machine was broken and the water they offered was hot. Most of the staff also seemed very young. On top of that, the walls are extremely thin so you can hear everything happening in the rooms around you and the room hand a smokey kinda moldy smell.  To be fair, it wasn’t the worst place ever. We didn’t see any bugs in the rooms and the breakfast was decent. Maybe the place just had a couple off days while we were there. If you’re just looking for somewhere to crash, don’t really care about comfort or good service, and just want something cheap then this place will probably work for you. "

"Arrived and there were no luggage carriers to help bring our bags and small children to our room. The front desk was seemingly less than concerned that they weren’t available and responded “oh yeah. Sometimes people take them. We should go and find them”. In photos of the room, they show a curtain divider separating the bed space from the couch space. In reality, this curtain is approximately 36” deep, not large enough to serve any kind of purpose whatsoever. Do not book this hotel thinking the curtain serves as a divider or provides any kind of privacy between one side and the other. At 11pm there were people running up and down the hallway, banging on all of the doors. This woke up our entire family, my young children included. It was so loud and so disruptive, we were all awake for the next hour. The running and banging lasted 15-20 minutes. Way too long, especially given that it was nearly midnight. With plenty of comparable hotels in the area, stay away from this place. "

"My recent stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Sharonville, Ohio was extremely disappointing. The hotel is currently undergoing major construction, but this was not properly disclosed before booking. The photos online show a clean, fully operating property, but the reality is that the hotel feels like an active renovation site. There was dust throughout the building, which caused me to sneeze, cough, strong chemical and paint smells which caused me to develop a headache during my stay. When I attempted to speak with someone about the conditions and cancel the remainder of my reservation, no manager was available and the front desk was often unattended. The room also had issues — there were two TVs with no remotes, and the bathroom had visible mold, which is unacceptable. I even reached out to corporate customer service, hoping the situation would be addressed, but unfortunately the response showed very little concern for the experience I had. Guests deserve transparency. If a property is under major renovation, that should be clearly communicated before booking, not discovered after arrival. Very disappointing experience overall. "
