Located in the district of Aveiro, Ovar is a small city with temperated climate and nice beaches all along its coast. Here you will find one of the many stretches of the famous Ria de Aveiro, a nature wonder where an immense population of birds lives.
Ovar is also known as the City-Museum of Tiles, because of the tradicional Portuguese tiles that are the main component of the local architecture. It is also internationally recognised as having one of the biggest Carnival celebrations in Europe, with a parade of almost 3.000 people that attract thousands of visitors during the month of February. While in Ovar, you should also try their wonderful traditional pastries, such as the famous Pão de Ló de Ovar.
Away from the city of Ovar and closer to the Ocean, in Furadouro you will find several fresh fish and seafood restaurants all over the place, specially in the Summer.

If you are arriving by plane, the best option to get to the apartment is by car.
Taxi or Uber are also possibilities to get to the apartment, but for a faster and easier arrival, please contact us so we can provide a personalised transfer service to pick you up at the airport (subject to an extra cost).

￫ The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis only - replacements or re-fills are not provided.
￫ Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, additional bed and bath linen will be provided for free at the check-in.
￫ The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance.
￫ Check-in time starts at 16:00 and check-out must be done until 11:00(am). Before leaving, please place the keys inside the lockbox.
￫ During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.
￫ Crib and baby chair are available upon request and subject to an extra fee.
￫ The pool is shared and its opening may be dependent on local authorities.
￫ Pool in operation, however may be under maintenance without notice from the condominium.
￫ For stays equal to or longer than 28 days, monthly bill consumptions exceeding €150 will be charged separately. By making the reservation, the guest agrees to these terms.
