「This was the most relaxing stay! We were deep in the countryside in our own stone village with great amenities and fresh bread, fruit, cheese, jam and honey for our kitchen every day. No restaurant on site or in walking distance but it was fun and challenging diving around exploring the region on back roads to get to the each town with its castle and church. 」

「This is a lovely, older home with a gorgeous view of the Monastery. It is a very short walk into the town (although down a very, very steep hill) where you can get coffee and fresh bread. The pool in the backyard was the perfect place to cool down in after an adventure to Nazaré (15-20 minute drive) or other Portugal sights.
