「We had a lovely weekend in the Shepherd's hut. Very cosy. It is in a very rural position but only a short drive from Beccles and Bungay- we loved the foodie shops in Bungay and the on-site farm shop.
It was great to pop out in the morning to grab still warm eggs from the chicken coop, and the goats and piglets kept us thoroughly amused. A really relaxing stay.」

「A great base for a visit to Lowestoft. Early morning views from Pakefield cliffs are amazing. The house is in a quiet road and parking was easy for us. Pakefiepld has many little gems and it is worth exploring the nearby streets for Victoria architectural gems.」

「The property itself was lovely, clean, well presented, and in a fantastic beach location.
Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by several unexpected issues that only appeared after booking through Expedia.
The listing showed that dogs stay free, yet during the online check‑in I was charged £50 for my dog (£25 per night). I was also asked to pay a £30 non‑refundable damages insurance. None of these costs were disclosed upfront, and had they been, I would not have booked.
