The place had everything you needed for a good weekend stay. Very cosy and clean. Only suggestion would be new mattresses in the room with two beds. The mattresses kind of roll into the middle so if you’re a couple it will push you both to the middle. That didn’t effect our stay though - 10/10
This was a quick family trip for a family funeral. We found the cabin perfectly cozy for our family. It was clean and easy to settle into. Kids are asking to go back soon. Next time we hope to have the time for a bonfire.
This property was very nice and very private. Close to everything. Super clean. My only suggestion is that they would put in the listing that the bedrooms are upstairs. We would stay there again.

Beautiful Cabin
Beautiful cabin .. just not suitable for handicapped person.Host we’re very accommodating and understanding and found us an alternate location that was perfect.
We absolutely loved this cabin. We brought our Boxer with us and he loved the front screen porch to look out whenever he wanted. We enjoyed the trail behind the cabin and just enjoyed the beautiful views that God made. We recommend to everyone and will return in the future.
This was the second time we stayed in this gem. It’s so quiet and peaceful. It stormed a lot so the screen porch was perfect to watch from.
We were still able to enjoy walks and hikes at nearby black rock mountain with our fur kids.
Thanks for another awesome stay! ❤️
The cabin was exactly as depicted and described. A comfortable quiet place for a week away from it all. Afternoons in the shade on the deck with the hammock were a joy after our daily hikes.
We enjoyed the convenient access to so many trails, waterfalls and hiking opportunities from Lake Burton to Highlands and Cashiers.
Good hamburgers at the Motor Company in Franklin, very good Cuban sandwiches at Hush in Clayton.
One issue that resulted in our overall rating being only four was the Dish receiver and internet connection. The main level receiver did not work during our stay. One attempt to troubleshoot it failed. The internet connection was slow and prone to many outages. It was too erratic to maintain a connection for streaming or even browsing.
That said, we would return, just being sure to download enough movies before leaving home.
Spent new years here with my family of 4. Kids loved it and had plenty of room for us. Not too far from Highlands Outpost for tubing. Close enough for stores, far enough for the getaway feeling. Will probably return in the summer to do some rafting.
We enjoyed the peacefulness of the cabin. Everything was great. Clean and had everything we needed to cook and grill. We just went to rest and that's what the cabin offered. Cozy! The dish network wasn't working in living area and host came to check it discovered box needed replaced. We would stay here again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the cabin. It had everything we needed to cook and relax. It was very clean and we highly recommend a nap in the indoor porch!!
Beautiful cabin - Furnishings and decor were great
Property manager was very responsive to our questions
Good location
We loved how the sunrise was exactly depicted on the front shutters and the actual mountain!
Would definitely stay here again
Thanks

I’ll certainly be back! My cousins live on the mountain across the street!! Great seeing them and being able to come back to the cabin for respite was wonderful. My dogs loved the mountains and us walking the trails near the property. Such an awesome get away and only 2 hours from home. Could not had asked for more. Thank you!!

We enjoyed our time in this cabin, plenty of good lighting and a path to hike up behind the house with our little dog. The use of antiques for storage and touches of artistry was wonderful, the long distance Mountain View wonderful. The only negative were the beds, mattresses could use replacing or toppers put on. The towns Franklin and Highlands amazing to visit with many waterfalls to see.
There was wood for a fire ring and great cozy throws around. Took great naps too.
We have stayed in many properties over the years in the mountains, and this one is wonderful.
So many activities in the area. We trout fished, Rock climbing, and many water adventures. Also rode our bikes along the Franklin Greenway water.
The drive way is a little steep, but we got use to it. ( be careful)
We had several questions , and the owners were quick to respond to us. We totally enjoyed our stay.
