Veronica’s Place - Brand new, roomy cottage on the Bras D'Or Lakes

This beautiful cottage has a huge half wrap around deck with a fabulous view of a serene harbour on the Bras D'Or Lakes. A new build, it boasts a south-facing wall of glass overlooking the Bras D'Or. Roomy, with a fully equipped kitchen which is completed with a rock maple topped island. The large bathroom boasts a glass-fronted walk-in shower with a bidet. A Custom-made maple vanity completes the luxury. Separate well-lit bedroom. With this cottage, comes your own lane to the harbour, with a wharf In summer.

A cozy cottage by the water - very quiet - close to Cabot Trail and Sydney NS - cottage equipped with everything imaginable! Very very clean - it would/could be called a “hidden gem”- comfortable bed and absolutely best bathroom ever! Will definitely stay here again if available!!

Awesome place with great views. Cottage is set up for anyone who may have forgot anything. Well stocked and very clean. We had a great time touring the area and visiting local attractions. Definitely recommend it and will keep it in our list for a return trip down the road.

Lovely cottage with an amazing view. The host thought of everything including a well stocked pantry in case you don’t get groceries before you arrive. We really enjoyed our stay here and would certainly recommend it to our family and friends.

My husband and I enjoyed two wonderful weeks at Veronica’s Place. The cottage is beautiful and very well equipped with all the comforts of home. Aileen was so kind to start us off with a bowl of fruit, eggs, milk and many other grocery items on our arrival. She was also very helpful with suggestions of places to visit during our stay. The cottage is centrally located so we were able to easily do day trips. It is such a nice place to come back to and relax at the end of the day. Highly recommend!

The location along the Bras d'Or Lakes is amazing. The cottage is adorable and immaculate. Lots of local wildlife; geese, beaver, and King Fishers greeted me on my first night. The owner is lovely, and very accommodating. I can't wait to return. A definite 10 out of 10!!

A personal touch

Cottage was better than advertised- clean, well equipped and beautifully decorated. It was almost like being at home, except that it was in beautiful Cape Breton. Woke up every morning to a view of the beautiful Bras d’Or. Within reasonable reach of most areas on Cape Breton.

What a view

The view from the house is exceptional. It's a stand-alone house with a front porch overlooking the water. It's away from the hustle and bustle of tourism which brought peace, calm, and tranquility after a day immersed in the sights and sounds of Cape Breton, the Cabot Trail, and the National Park. Our host Aileen was an added bonus. She is a joy to interact with and helped make our stay more pleasant.

Wow, stocked like never seen before

While a little further away than originally thought, this precious cottage makes up in charm and comfort. We had noted previous reviews that we ought to do groceries ahead of arrival, so came prepared. However, owner had seen to supply more than i could have imagined. She is such a caring soul... we enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cottage.
