「It was a lovely scenic drive to the property. We wanted a place near the ocean, so we had a great view and access to the beach. The tide was out most of our stay. 「We loved the location and size of this property but unfortunately it is very run down. Nasty stains on the carpet, venetian blinds that don't shut properly, dead bugs on all the window and door ledges. The internet was intermittent and we could not watch live TV. There were smelly rubbish bags at the back door and we were unable to find bins for the first two days for our rubbish. 」

「Beautiful scenery over to the Waikato hills. Alpacas on the doorstep greeting you among the other animals on the property. The owner was accommodating, very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay as fantastic as possible. He gave awesome tips about places to visit including the Nikau cave! The accommodation was very clean and tidy, and everything you could need was made available. I Would 100% recommend staying here and would love to again in the future.」
