Right on Gyro beach with a beautiful lake view. Hot tub was bigger than average, hotter than average, which was relaxing (also has a steam room). Spacious parking spots. Staff was super professional and attended to our needs. But the best part of this hotel was that it is very pet friendly. We had the best family vacation with our toy poodle.

We stayed at the Watermark for three nights in early September 2024. My wife and I rented one of the townhouses, number 12 to be exact. These are situated right on the beach and offer two bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a full kitchen and laundry machines. The property is well maintained. We did not use the pool as there were lots of small children, but it looked very clean. There is a Bistro on site, we went for cocktails only, but the food that we saw on the tables looked well prepared. The resort is basically in town, walking distance to restaurants and pubs. There is a Nester's grocery store next to the resort for your shopping needs. The lake is warm! Great for swimming, but bring water shoes, there are lots of stones and rocks on the lake bottom that can hurt your feet. The only real complaint we had was the bed pillows. They are like foam filled. not the most comfortable. Other than that, we had a lovely stay and next time we will bring our own pillows!!

Lovely property & staff were wonderful. Only negative - need some kind of security at pool. One family let in multiple other friends with children & they were loud & took over the pool area. These “friends” parked at Gyro Beach Park & walked over to pool with multiple strollers. Teenagers also tried to sneak in but were turned away.

Just want to say the staff here is amazing. It’s was my 30th anniversary and I asked for upgrade. I was given a suite and a bottle of bubbly wine. The room was amazing and having the new brewery open in the hotel was awesome.

Our stay at the Watermark was very enjoyable. The amenities made for a comfortable stay. The suite was spacious with plush beds and linens. Kitchen was fully equipped. Outdoor dining area was fantastic. Pool, gym and beach were clean and inviting. There were lots of options for restaurants to dine out and nearby grocery stores for stocking the fridge. We will definitely be back!
