"View over the lake was amazing and beach access was great! If you’re looking to spend most of your time at the beach this is the place for you. "The Green Gables price was very reasonable for my one night stay and is an absolutely beautiful location right on the lake. The room was clean enough, but I felt like the the interior and exterior could use some TLC. There was a hole in the bedroom door that needed painting. "For a property it's age, it was very well kept, and very clean. A wonderful Oasis after a long motorcycle ride!"

"Pros: the room was big and clean, the view from the balcony was beautiful as it overlooked orchards and the lake in the distance. The bed was comfortable, the location was quiet and parking was free, right outside your door. The “office”, which you enter with your door key card, has a mini kitchen with a microwave, sink, dishes and cutlery but there is no included breakfast. Above the office is a deck with a BBQ guests can use. Cons: there were no staff around to help and I got no reply to a phone and text message about one issue. The fridge is tiny. One chair had ripped fabric. Our room featured a large jet tub in the bathroom with an opening to the bedroom that you could close off with a blind which offered limited privacy to anyone using the toilet in the bathroom. (Sounds travel easily through a blind). Overall, the cost, location, room size and comfort were good, the opening between bed and bathroom odd, and the lack of staff disappointing."

"The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. Budget friendly. The location is also good as it is walking distance to all the stores. The drains in the tub and sink are very slow, needs some check-up. No housekeeping services during the stay and garbage needs to be thrown by yourself. The receptionist is nice. Beach towels are available at the frontdesk. Generous towels. Beach front and chairs are available. Parking can be full. Not soundproof. Loud aircon."

"Loved the breakfast and how long it was available in the morning so you don't have to wake up at the crack of dawn before all the food is gone. Everyone we encountered was friendly. We were close to everything and will stay here again. My only issue is the mattresses seem to feel a little old. Otherwise everything was perfect."

"The pool set up was excellent. Plenty of room for lots of kids to have a good time. Space for adults. Could use a few more lounge chairs, I suppose.
