Public bath on the top floor was great! The location of this hotel is just steps from the station, which is a couple of stops away from Kansai airport, making it super convenient to wake up and get to the airport within 20 or so minutes!

Great hotel near Kansai airport with easy access by train. Perfect for an airport stay and in an interesting local area with good dining options. The staff are friendly and helpful and the room was well appointed. Very quiet for a good nights sleep and an excellent roof too onsen.

Newer hotel next to Nankai train station, good public bath, nice view from lounge on top floor. The big problem I had was that my room faced the train station and noise from the P A was too loud. Difficult to sleep, it got quiet after midnight when the station closed. 7-11 downstairs but their not open 24 hours, they open at 6am. I was pleased with the breakfast. Food was above average with a good selection. No airport shuttle, you need to take the train which is a 15 minute ride. Area is pretty dismal, working class, not good for foreigners. Stay in Rinku town instead, its the next station and closer to the airport.

Nice location. Many local eatery choices around and 10mins walk to shopping area . relatively spacious room compared to the Japan hotel size. Good room deco and vibe. Only thing is not sure how long they do the house keeping. Mine was not done for all the 3 nights.

Very clean and new hotel. The single room is very small but that’s Japan. The beds are also comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. When I left my wallet in a cab they even had a message waiting for me that it had been brought to the police station and was waiting for me.

Wife and I loved how close the hotel was to the train station. Flying into KIX, the hotel is right outside of Izumisano station, which is just two stops down from the airport station. The area itself is extremely quiet, clean and convenient. Not only do you have immediate access to a 7-11 right outside the hotel, but you have nearby shopping areas in every direction. Outside of your immediate proximity, walking a mile in either direction will give you a different feel for the neighborhood, and each area is safe and walkable (or bike-able!). Would definitely stay at REF Kansai again just for how convenient it was. The room itself was incredibly clean and simple, albeit smaller than what we’re used to in Western countries. The staff was kind and respectful, and they spoke pretty good English when it was necessary. Hotel amenities included a great early-morning breakfast (paid but affordable), massage chairs, laundry service and its own onsen! If you require anything for the room (again, it’s much smaller and simpler than you might be used to), don’t be afraid to ask the staff.

If you're arriving late from overseas to the airport, this is a great option to rest before heading to Osaka or Kyoto. It was incredibly close to the station and easy to find.
