Family get away with friends

Great location!!! Being a no wake area the kids were able to swim and paddle board to their heart’s content. We kayaked down to Frank’s & Louie’s a couple of different times for lunch and drinks. And honestly, I don’t think the pictures do this house justice. It is SUPER cute!!

Outstanding place to kick back and relax

Active family

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The kayaks were great - I took a 10 minute trip with my kids to the beach at Frank and Louie’s to fish in the mornings, and had some ice cream before we paddled back. The cabin is even cuter than the pictures- very beachy vibe and the kitchen was fully stocked for all our cooking needs. Super cute serving platters and plates and bowls to make the visit just right. Even a margarita glass set for the grown ups! The sunsets across the cove are beautiful, and the deep water off the dock is perfect for swimming or floating- whatever your pleasure! It was just what we wanted and more.

Awesome 10 night stay - great place and location.

New to this property - house is done very nicely - everything seems to be remodeled/redone very recently. Very well equipped. Dishwasher and washer/dryer were awesome. Cooked and ate at home multiple times and had everything we needed. Everything works great. So the few little things I would wish for the be a 5/5: Dock is all wood and aged. Lots of wood chipped and opportunities for trips (especially for littles or elderly). Ladder is a little challenging to navigate - narrow with only 4 steps that stays in the water 24/7 so the wood steps that are in the water are slippery. Felt it was a little tough to balance and have the strength to climb out of the water for older people. Kids of course had no issues. Beds - all three of them make a lot of noise when you sit/lay down. After that - comfortable and quiet. Just be aware, you may hear others getting in to bed in the other rooms. Bedrooms doors - are super tight - probably due to recent painting. Fully functional but loud/sticky to open. Two bedrooms facing that lake get a lot of light. There are blinds in the sliding doors and facing West so you are not getting the sunrise, but you will know it's morning. We were notified in the welcome letter that the air has a hard time keeping the upstairs cool when it's super hot. Lucky for us - we had 11 straight days of 95+ and sun. Perfect lake weather but the air did have a tough time keeping up even with all the vents on the lower floor closed as instructed. So it was a little warm sleeping but we'll take the 95 degree days anytime. No complaints from this group on that one. Last - be aware - the walk to Franky and Louie's is do-able - but it's not an easy one. The area is super hilly so you better be in for a descent uphill climb as part of the .5 mile walk on your return home. That all said - we did absolutely love it. Spent tons of time on the dock relaxing and watching non-stop boat traffic into Frankie and Louie's. Had our boat in the dock and super convenient to get in and out of. Love the deck sitting areas as well as all of the inside living space. We both worked from home part of the time with no issues. Had such beautiful weather, we didn't really even turn the TV on. Loved the place and loved the stay - made it hard to leave. Great property.

We will definitely return to this property!

The house had been updated and was very clean. It’s close to the lake so we didn’t have to climb a lot of stairs. The manager answered all my random questions quickly. It will be on our return list for sure.

Perfect Location for Us

I can't say enough great things about this place! I was just as pictured and described online. Kalina was the perfect host. She answered questions immediately. Our main reason for renting this house, was it's location to Franky & Louis'! We were not disappointed. We loved having the dock to fish and swim off of. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We are already planning next year's trip!

Second Time

This is our second time staying at this location. Area is great with a pretty quite cove and a neighbor who makes sure the boaters are following the no wake rule! Things are getting to be a little warn and out dated mainly in the upstairs area and the kitchen.

Great Little House on Nice Cove

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property! It was the perfect size for our smaller group, with great amenities and a nice kitchen. Bathrooms were spacious and clean, and we really enjoyed the access to the upper deck from two of the bedrooms. We spent so much time just swimming off the dock and watching the boats come into the Franky and Louies Cove. We liked that it was so close to the bar/restaurant. Be aware the parking is limited. (two cars max) but we made it work. We loved spending time in the evening on the outside patio. Lots of wonderful memories made.

Great Cove

Great Location

Our family of four had a great time renting this home. The location is fantastic in a no wake cove, and so close to Frankie and Louies. We enjoyed swimming and catching fish off the dock. The home fit our needs just fine. The only downside, if we can find one, is that the dock is a little old and needs some TLC. We spent time pulling out a couple splinters, but that didn’t impede the fun we had. We would rent the house again!

Beautiful Lake Front Home

We have enjoyed staying at this beautiful lake front home. The house is very clean, comfortable and has a stocked kitchen. The neighbors are great!! The house is in a no wake Cove which is great if you own a boat. Dock was covered. Frankie & Louie’s is just 1/2 mile walk or drive. A great place to relax and watch the boats.

Lake house review

Great little property. Loved that the family room and kitchen were downstairs. Very convenient when kids are in and out to the lake. Living room had a really comfortable couch and chair to relax in. All bedrooms are upstairs which is nice when someone needs some quiet time. The house is in a great cove. Parking yes is limited on the property to probably two cars max. But the road you park on, traffic is limited to those houses in that cove area so I barely saw any traffic at all on our road. While there we fished , rented jet skis at Frankie and Louie’s which is literally right there (By the way Nolan who we rented from was awesome), rented a boat. There was a space in the dock for our boat rental which was nice if your there several days and want to keep your boat rental for several days. Loved all the restaurants/bars on the lake you can get to by boat or car. Also FYI there is a “Woods” supermarket maybe 5 minutes away which carried literally everything (gas,groceries,fishing supplies, beer, pool toys, and more) So that was a real convenience for us. So yes we had a great first time stay at the Lake. Would definitely recommend.

The perfect home away from home

We absolutely loved our stay here. The cleaning lady hadn’t come which was not the owners fault. Just a miscommunication. She took care of things immediately and also made it right by refunding some money back. Everything was exactly like it appears on the listing. The owner is fantastic and the house was perfect along with the beautiful view. Will definitely be staying here again.

Girl's Trip Weekend

Nice location and clean home, décor was cute and beachy. We went on a girl's trip to the Ozarks. The home had everything we needed. Loved the dock fridge for the time we laid out in the sun, quick access to ice and beer. The porch at night was the best, enjoyed the boats going by and the stars. One downfall, is poor parking. Our vehicle was a bit to wide for the parking spot available on that narrow road. I wish there was more direction (pre-trip) on parking, so we knew what to prepare for. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for sharing your home.
