We were excited to stay here given it was a castle. It did not disappoint! The grounds were very nice and the place has been kept up. The room was quite spacious - we had a ‘superior double room’ but it could have been decorated nicer given the atmosphere. The bed seemed small in the room. The bathroom was quite large and nice. Despite the description stating that the castle had a restaurant, it was not operating. The staff were helpful in finding a restaurant that was opened and had availability for us to eat dinner. They do offer a bar and light snacks (a little on the pricey side).
