"The beach view is excellent. Check in was quick and easy. The kitchen had absolutely everything. This was my fourth stay and the outdoor area was completely redone since last time I stayed and it was wonderful. Everyone that works there was very helpful and very pleasant. I will definitely stay here again."

"There were a lot of great things about this property and a few things I would like to see changed if I came back again. Pros: View: all the rooms have an ocean view and the balcony views were amazing! Grill: there is an amazing grilling station on the patio /pool area that was great! 4 grills, so there was always space to cook dinner. Just know you can ask the front desk for bbq accessories, they just weren’t in the room. Pool:/beach: great! Lots of Loungers and you can ask front desk for chair and umbrella for beach if you would like. Kitchenette: was nice to have full fridge/freezer, sink , microwave and stove. Loved it. Staff: was very friendly. Helpful and always ready to help when needed. Parking: Was free and abundant. Cons: Rooms: •The floors were SO dirty when we checked in. We had dirt and sand caked on our feet as we walked through. Everything else was clean, however. •Was weird to have a living room with no coffee table. This was would have been nice to have. •Our room smelled SO bad. Very strong of musty smell combined with paint? Not sure ... But it was very off putting. We stopped into someone else’s room and it didn’t smell bad, so not sure what was going on with ours. Hottub: was cold. Same temp as pool. Not sure if it was just not working , or if it every gets warm. Got calls everyday to go to a timeshare meeting. Just be aware. "

"Older hotel but is clean and the employees are constantly workin on keeping maintenance. Ocean view is beautiful and relaxing from rooms. "

"The breakfast was only muffins & coffee. The kitchen utensils were not to my liking. Everything stick to the pans the silverware was dirty. The toilet stopped working but they fixed it but left water on"

"Beach view was incredible. It was unobstructed and gorgeous. Great, easy access to the beach. Outdoor pool was heated to perfection. Loved that the putt putt golf was included (a really nice little course). The room served it's purpose, and while the kitchen is small- it is stocked with all the items you need. Pictures are 100% accurate on the listing. "

"The Cove hotel was clean & staff were always friendly. One issue - We were not notified that the pool was ripped out and under construction until October 2026. I happened upon a recent review to find out this information. Fortunately, after calling, the hotel right next door (Plantation Island) are letting guests from The Cove use their pools at no charge! They have 2 large pools (1 heated), 3 hot tubs and a kiddie pool. The Cove responded quickly to any requests I had and offered express check out through text. The rooms are nicely updated with great ocean views. We willl definitely stay here again once the pool is completed."
