7-bedroom pool home with spa and game room, Emerald Island, sleeps 14

Seven bedrooms give two or three families room to spread out: two kings, two queens, and three rooms with twin beds for the children. Your private screened pool has a raised spa, loungers, and a shaded lanai. Indoors, the game room has a pool table, foosball, and air hockey. The home sleeps 14 and has 4.5 bathrooms at gated Emerald Island Resort in Kissimmee, about 5 miles from Disney’s Animal Kingdom and 9 from Magic Kingdom.

THE POOL
Your own screened pool has a raised, bubbling spa at one end, sun loungers on the deck, and a shaded lanai. For families with little ones, there is a safety fence between the house and the pool.

GAME ROOM
The game room has a 7-foot pool table, foosball, air hockey, a dartboard, board games, and a games console.

BEDROOMS
Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor, and the other six are upstairs.

There are four full bathrooms and a half bathroom, and TVs in the bedrooms.

KITCHEN AND LIVING
There are two places to sit: a family room with a flat-screen TV that opens onto the pool deck, and a separate living room at the front of the house. The kitchen has a breakfast island, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster, and the dining table is beside the living room. There is a washer and dryer, and Wi-Fi.

EMERALD ISLAND CLUBHOUSE
The clubhouse has a pool, hot tub, and tiki bar, a fitness center, and game rooms. Around the resort are mini golf, tennis and volleyball courts, three children’s playgrounds, and a walking trail. The resort runs the clubhouse, and its hours can change.

GETTING IN
Emerald Island is gated. Your names are entered at the gate, and the resort emails you a link to register your vehicles; the resort charges $20 plus tax per vehicle. You let yourselves into the home with a private door code, which we send you before you arrive.

GOOD TO KNOW
Pool and spa heating is optional: $35 a night, with a 4-night minimum. The spa is a raised part of the pool, not a separate hot tub. The home does not come with a grill, but you can rent a gas grill for your stay. You arrive to a starter supply of coffee, soap, shampoo and conditioner, dishwasher tabs, laundry pods, trash bags, and bathroom tissue. Smoking is allowed outside only.
