This lovely 3 bed 2 bath 1300 sq ft private ground floor condo is nestled on the shores of Lake Davenport in the beautiful gated Bahama Bay Resort. The quiet resort designed around lakes and forests on the shores of Lake Davenport offers superior facilities within 15 minutes of Disney World and all other major attractions Central Florida has to offer. The 24-hour gated and guarded resort offers guests facilities which are worthy of a first class resort. Feel at home while enjoying your holiday, comfortable, spacious and welcoming, equipped with all the amenities & a sense of 'being at home' that you can never expect from a hotel room, no matter how grand.

The unit is fully furnished, and its floors are fully tiled. The quiet location allows you to relax on your spacious private lanai and enjoy cool breeze over the park view as you start your day or unwind after a long day out. A grilling area is close as is the club house and the outdoor recreation areas. You can cool off in the crystal-clear blue water of the multiple pools and spas located throughout Bahama Bay gardens and enjoy a wonderful meal at Tradewinds restaurant overlooking the pool, beach and dock area. fantastic resort in davenport

The resort amenities were of high quality. pool and hot tub were sufficiently heated. the apartment were spacious and everything was in order. any hiccups were dealt swiftly by the owner. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future

Clean and spacious condo

4.5 stars. We were visiting Disney because our son's marching band was performing at the Magic Kingdom. This condo was nearby and very well priced, so we booked despite there being no reviews yet. I'm glad that we took that leap of faith! The condo was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and all the information to check in and access the unit was correct. The unit was larger than expected, with a very spacious living/dining room area, three separate bedrooms, and two full baths. The decor is a bit dated, but I'll take clean over trendy any day. The walls between units are pretty thin, so you can hear clearly everything that's going on next door and upstairs. If you're a light sleeper, I'd highly recommend bringing a white noise machine. The kitchen has all the equipment you'd need to cook a meal, but you'll need to bring or buy all your own spices (including salt and pepper). You'll also need basket filters for the coffee maker (we bought a large pack and left the extras, but I don't know if the owner will leave those for subsequent guests or not). Oddly, there are no scissors or kitchen shears in the unit, so plan to pack your own if you need to remove tags from purchases. Bahama Bay itself is gated and safe, with multiple pools and playgrounds. We also took advantage of the spa with a FANTASTIC massage, and would recommend them, as well. This condo is about 20-30 minutes to every Disney property, depending on traffic.

Close to Disney World

Paul’s place was nice for my family of 5. It was a little farther out from Kissimmee (45min - 1hr) than we wanted since we were there to visit family versus going to Disney World. Otherwise, the set up and accommodations were great. I gave 4 stars on cleanliness because my son pointed out what appeared to be blood on one of the pillow shams and a few of the provided towels had some stains/spots on them. We had no complaints or issues besides that. My kids enjoyed the community pool and hot tub. We didn’t realize there is also a splash pad until another guest told us. Oh, we did take advantage of having the kitchen to cook versus eating out. So just a heads up that the smoke detector is rather sensitive and goes off when opening the oven door to remove cooked food. This happened twice but it only beeped a couple times. After that we turned on the microwave vent fan and the smoke detector didn’t go off anymore. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!
