Comfortable but needing TLC

The house needs some updating but overall we had a nice stay for six weeks. This is all I would have said in my review but I was taken back with the email received from the management company 8 days after our stay. Following your recent stay at &@ Dr. we wanted to inform you that our cleaners and inspectors have reported some damages to the house. These include:- Roku TV remote missing- 3 bath towels stainedWe have initiated the necessary steps to address these issues through your security deposit.Deposit was docked 63My responseI appreciate the update, all remotes were there when we left With regard to the towels, they were washed according to the directions on the washing machine, and I use spot remover on anything that I saw. I found this washing machine left spots on my white shirts I want to address some additional concerns. During my stay at &@ Dr, I had to purchase a number of household items that I would consider basic to a kitchen. A swiffer as the broom on site was old and dirty. A paring knife ,wine glasses , plastic storage containers for left over food , and various cleaning supplies, as these were either missing or not provided. These are essential household items, and I don’t believe it’s fair that I had to cover these costs myself.The vacuum was missing a filter after leaving 2 messages it never was fixedThe dishwasher does not clean properly and we hand washed the dishes.

It was a nice property. The house you can tell is older. A few broken things, hot tub never got hot even after 3 days just like a warm bath. There are no lights over or in the pool, so swimming at night or was pretty dark.

Misleading listing!

The pictures were very misleading. The house was very dirty. It had old food, and a live ROACH INFESTATION! They had to send another cleaner out. Trash can was filled with MAGETS! VERY FAR FROM THE BEACH!

A nice place to stay.

Overall a positive review. If a few items were improved, it could make this a great review. That being said: Positives: spacious home beautiful neighborhood, a quick and efficient response from management company when our smoke detectors started chirping in the middle of the night. Negatives: mismatched glassware and silverware, mismatched or worn patio furniture, pots and pans that need replacing, no directions for televisions and only one pool cue with a broken tip in game room.

Not perfect, but worked out nicely

The property had lots of room for our family. Paid for the pool heater, it did not run as long as I thought it would, but it got warm. Plenty of kitchen items, even what you would not expect. The house could use a little TLC. The house had a roof leak that was communicated to us prior to arrival. You can not play pool. The pool sticks are held together with tape. Overall it worked for us, and we would probably return, but they could make a few improvements. Property managers are quick to respond to emails throughout the process.

Great stay in orlando

Property was in a great location. It has a nice pool and jacuzzi which was like a hot bath. The property was rather tired though and the cleaning left a little to be desired - we had a few hairs in the bath mats and crumbs down the sofa 🤢. The pool table needs new cues and the hob hardly worked at all. The beds were very comfy. So all in all good and bad - however I would say the photos must be quite dated as the place is not as shiny and new looking as the photos any more. It is also advertised as very private but actually there is no privacy at all from the neighbouring property which could be easily resolved. It felt a bit mean that for two weeks we were left only 2 dishwasher tablets and nothing else at all - not even a little washing up liquid or salt and pepper - a few basic supplies would have been much nicer.

Very nice

Nice property with everything you need. Property owners very easy to get a hold of and prompt response. Wanted to stay an extra night and couldn't give them a definite answer until midnight due to the job my son does and the owner was very understanding. He accommodated us without hesitation. Would recommend and would stay again. Thank you
