Upon checking in (arrived at 2:30 am) we realized we had no hot water, called the management when they opened at 8 am, left a message. 2 hours later had no reply and called again, they first asked if we had permission to check in early, Nope didn't check in early we had the rental from Friday at 4pm but didn't arrive until 2:30 am. Saturday, we were told they would send someone out. 6 pm that night a maintenance person stopped by, to find out that the gas was not on. Told us it was locked at the sight, implied that the bill was not paid. They would get back to us about it in the morning when they got it figured out. So no hot water and no stove for us to use. Being a Saturday, the management apparently didn't want to pay a weekend fee and instead gave us the run around for the whole weekend. Claimed it was a community wide outage, we talked to neighbors and it was just us. Monday, we went about our vacation only to have the management company ask us to be available to meet the gas company on sight. After arriving on Saturday morning, we finally were able to have hot showers and cook on Monday evening. While the house was good and the location is great. This was not the best experience. Would most likely stay at the Solterra Resort again, just not with this management company.

Prima tussenwoning met 4 slaapkamers en een klein privézwembad in prachtige ‘gated’ community

7 jaar geleden zijn we ook op Solterra Resort geweest. Toen in een 12 persoons vakantiewoning. De tussenwoning (townhouse) die we deze keer hebben gehuurd ligt in een rustig straatje in het resort op loopafstand van het fijne clubhuis met gym en zwembad (met gratis koffie).In het weekend en op feestdagen kan het druk zijn om het resort met de auto op te komen omdat iedereen zich aan moet melden bij de beveiliging aan de ingang van het resort. De parkeerplaats van het zwembad is op deze dagen ook vol. Op zaterdag en Paaszondag was er ook een DJ (Lady Loca) die tussen 12:00 en 15:00 draaide en spelletjes deed met de kids (ze draaide vooral Urban vanaf de 90’s).Verder moet je een toeslag betalen om gebruik te kunnen maken van de gym en het zwembad met lazy river.De woning was prima. Het slot van de voordeur werkte bij aankomst al niet naar behoren, er lag vuilnis in de struiken bij de voordeur, de wijnkoeler lekte, de jets van het zwembad werkten niet en 1 van de gaspitten deden het niet. De verhuurder heeft een week na de klacht het slot vervangen. De andere klachten is niets aan gedaan. De 2 kingsize bedden kraakten enorm als je je omdraaide in bed. Het zwembad(je) is niet verwarmd maar dat was geen probleem om het 14 dagen lang meer dan 30 graden was in april.Al met al krijg je met deze woning waar voor je geld want het was niet duur en je verblijft in een mooi resort met fijn zwembad, een privézwembad én dichtbij Disney.

Family get away

Easy communication with property management and accommodated an extra days stay at last minute. Place was ready and easy to find. Beds were comfortable but very noisy. Pots in cabinets were dirty. Pool and lazy river were nice but very crowded which was disappointing when we were not able to use the pool because it was at capacity or find a chair when it was busy.

Great Townhome outside of Orlando

We all had a great 10 day stay at this townhome! It was a quick 30 minutes to all of the Disney parks, but also had so much near the house in Davenport. We picked this house because it had 2 king beds, which is VERY hard to come by these days, so I appreciate that! The amenities were great too even though we didn't get to use them because of the busy park days and various outdoor temps. We'd definitely stay again if we book another long trip!

Beware

The pool does not work. Even after the heating cost. The manager did not disclose that the pool was working after the booking process. Payment was asked for the heating cost and still no heat for the pool

Solterra my favorite development to stay when going to Florida. This was a beautiful home and my first stay in the townhones and it was extremely spacious.

Great spot

We loved it!! Only thing is the initial welcome packet is almost 14 pages long… quite overwhelming before we even checked in and there is only one of each thing supplied so pack some toilet paper… Otherwise it was fabulous!!
