Great hosts and comfortable stay

we loved our stay here. the location is very close to wekiwa island/springs and we loved being able to come back to watch the sunset over a gorgeous lake to end our day.

The perfect weekend getaway home

This place was the perfect amount of space for my boyfriend and I. We both enjoyed swinging in the swings outside and we loved the view of the lake especially at sunset. It was clean and easy to find. We have no complaints!

Comfortable & Clean

Enjoyed our 4 week stay there. My husband and I are both retired. It was very relaxing,...we enjoyed a beer by the lake, grilled burgers on the patio, bed was very comfortable and location was good. Communication with our hosts was exceptional and check-in was smooth. I highly recommend this place and we would stay again!

Was perfect for a short weekend meet with my daughter who attends full sail,close for her.

It was very relaxing.. sunsets on the dock, dinner in the porch ..swings to relax in and read. Comfortable bed and a pull out couch..plenty room. Booking it again as I write this .

Lakeside Retreat

Very nice little place attached to a home on a lake.Bed was very comfortable. Two little sitting areas with TVs, shower was awesome. Loved the screened in porch with little table and chairs and the entryway outside sitting area. It is attached to a home, but homeowner was very quiet and pleasant. There is no cooking facilities except a microwave and toaster oven, which was fine with us as we didn’t want to cook in our vacation anyway! It’s close enough to what Orlando has to offer, but far enough to feel like you have some quiet.

Quiet and Cute

Nice little place. Loved the view of the lake and it worked well for me. I was busy most of the day so I appreciate the quiet, clean environment to retire to at the end of the day. I would definitely stay there again.

Hidden gem

I loved this little place so much. I went for a couple of days by myself just to get away. It was quaint, quiet and well appointed. The hosts were incredible and kind. I love love the backyard, the little pool and the dock was so amazing to watch the sunset from. Close to the springs and just perfect in my opinion. Thanks!!!

Place was larger than I thought. Very clean. Shower was the best I ever had. Property was well kept and very pretty. The lake had some good fishing and the manager was very friendly. Would recommend to anyone. Was perfect.

Very nice little suite by the lake

We really enjoyed staying at this little suite off the main house. It’s beautiful right near the lake with a little table to sit at on the dock. The little pool was fun especially for the kids but the adults enjoyed it too. Kyle, the owner/manager was very nice and was there if we needed anything or had questions. We had a great time. And the owners/managers supplied a lot of nice touches to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

FL Relaxation

Property was exceptional in cleanliness, safe peaceful neighborhood, supplied to the max! you did need to worry if you forgot anything the owners had you covered. Was great for a couple or if you had a small child this place would work well. It's not for a family as stated in the description of the property. The floorplan is open so the bedroom is not private fromt he living area. The kitchenette worked out for us as we only eat breakfast at the rental.The purposefor us was to see "Florida Nature" this trip so the location was great for that. If you're looking to vacation at the Disney attractions you'll have a slight drive.

Cute Place, Perfect for our girls trip

We enjoyed our stay here. It was a nice size for our party of 2 adults and 1 child. The place was charming and the sunset views were incredible. My 11yr old loved having access to the pool. I loved that the house was well stocked enough that we even had a cooler to fill up with drinks and food on our day excursions. Centrally located so we could see and do so much in our short time there. I would mention that the refrigerator runs warm and there is no freezer. We would definitely stay here again.

Business visit

The cottage is cute and quirky with a great view of the lake. It was very peaceful. We spent a day on the back porch working while looking at the lake. I think it is in need of a deep spring cleaning, however. I’m extremely sensitive to smells, and there was a strong pet odor, I opened the windows to help air out the unit. Overall, a good experience. Kyle was extremely helpful and kind.

Beautiful yard and very comfortable accommodations

The bed was very comfortable and the shower was awesome. Lots of hot water. There is a bath and a half which was very convenient. The only negative I could think about would be there is no burner in the house to use. I like to have eggs in the morning and I couldn’t do that. There is an air fryer however and a microwave. There was lots of room in the home. And two seating areas for watching TV. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

Nice place

We enjoyed our stay in this eclectic in-law apartment. It was located nearby tasty restaurants and places of interest. The dock is not very fishing friendly and it has an old Florida feeling. They have a big dog but it was no real problem. A lot of potentially useful things are equipped In this unit. The bed is comfortable. A stove would have been nice but it was ok without one. The tv is in the other room with pull out couch but it doesn’t rotate to be seen from the main bed. We pulled the couch bed out and watched tv there. It was a good week.

Quiet getaway near the city

Staying here was a blast! It was such a cute place to stay, that had its quirks, but was overall a great rental! Suggestions for owners, I definitely would consider a full curtain for the bedroom window. It did make us feel exposed, but being on our own side of the property, it still felt private. The bed was super comfy and it was nice having an Extra bathroom. The main bathroom shower, LOVED IT! And we also loved the welcome snacks and drinks!! Never ran into the owners actually, but we were gone for majority of the day for theme parks. Found the driveway okay since it’s marked, and was not terrible to get in and out of. Any major attractions are within driving distance. Loved not staying near the traffic. Favorite part of the stay was sitting on the dock drinking coffee. Very pretty property! Did not get to go swimming in the pool unfortunately! Wish we did on some of those hot days! Would stay again!

Perfect Lakefront Property

March at this lakefront was perfect. The weather was great and the trees and lake allowed for a beautiful breeze that I wish I'd been able to enjoy more. The site was down and Sherry made sure to email me with the check-in information prior to my arrival. The unit is just as it looks in the pictures. I'd only seen one other person on the property -the 2nd day he was cutting the grass. It's a very zen, whimsical, peaceful spot, and there are lots of small lizards running around outside, but none inside, so, that's a plus. The decor is eclectic lakefront type decor. I loved the therapeutic shower...give me good water pressure and I can rock with just about anything else! I do wish there was a tv in the bedroom because we'd wanted to climb into bed and veg out after a long humid day, but, it wasn't a deal breaker - there's one in the sitting are of the main room. There was another in the front room, in the kitchenette areas. The hostess had awesome snacks, water, and libations in the fridge. Very thoughtful. Keep in mind that there is no washer/dryer (which one would know if looking at the amenities, but, some don't). It's ideal for a couple, maybe a couple of smaller kids. I think that my 16 year old son would have been fine being there with us, but no more than that as far as kids. I would definitely book with Sherry again.
