Staff at the reception was good. Girl in the kitchen for breakfast service was rude. Everything in the breakfast was sweet. For the price of the rooms, it was ok. Location is pretty good, walking distance from Florida Shopping Mall.

We stayed one night at Garnet Inn and Suites and had a decent overall experience. The staff was very polite and helpful from check-in to check-out, which we really appreciated. Our room was clean and comfortable, and for a short stay it met our basic needs well. The biggest downside was the noise. It seems like most of the rooms face the street, and traffic sounds carried through the night, which made it hard to sleep. If you’re a light sleeper, this could be an issue. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool since the weather was a bit too cool during our visit, so we can’t comment on that amenity. Overall, not a bad stay for a quick overnight trip, but the street noise would make us think twice about booking again unless that’s addressed.

The air conditioning works great. Overall, the hotel offers good value for the price. As long as you keep your expectations in line with the budget, you’ll have a pleasant stay. It’s located in a safe, pleasant neighborhood within walking distance of a shopping mall and convenience stores.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Though both the room and hallway leading up to it smelt like moldy weed to be honest. Doors were so thin you could hear people from the other side of the building talking in the hallway All in all you get what you paid for honestly, none of the hotels on this road are the best but they’re good on a budget

Internet was good. Bed and bathroom were clean except the floors could've been cleaner. I felt better wearing my socks. The hallway floors were a tripping hazard as some areas were warped. The room next door had the TV loud the entire night. My evening was quite unrestful. There was also a lot of traffic noise as the hotel is situated on a busy street. Heard sirens throughout the night.

The staff was great, and the hotel was clean. The only complaint I have is the rooms weren’t properly updated. Who ever renovated it did a terrible job patching everything. The TV didn’t work- but that wasn’t too big of a deal. Overall I’m happy with the stay! Very close to everything.

Loved the swimming pool,, didn't like our room, due to it needing alot of repairs, the cleaning girl was not the best, that's why no tip in our room for her. found the breakfast staff snotty and the young girl was miserable. Other then that, we did like our stay there.

We highly enjoyed our stay at Garnet Inn! It was very affordable and comfortable. It was a beautiful place to stay, the pool and courtyard area were so gorgeous!!! Our room had a small balcony and was very spacious. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean!!! All of the staff were super nice and were very helpful. They do what they can to make sure your stay is enjoyable! We didn’t get to swim due to the pool being closed for maintenance, but it is a huge pool and very clean! We would for sure stay again. The only complaint is that it is a very busy and congested area, but that is no fault of theirs that they can help. There is also a restaurant right beside it and a 7-11 we found that very convenient!

This place was very nice. It was small and pretty clean. It was a little out dated but still cute. No bugs and no weird stains. The price was great and area of town was busy. The bed was very comfortable and the water pressure in shower was really good. I liked the waffle machine for the breakfast, there was cereal and toast and coffee also.

The rooms were very, very clean! No bugs at all which the price had me worried. The trash in the common areas sometimes got over full, but it didn’t cause any pest issues. A little dated/old but I loved the retro feel. Pool was amazing. Rooms were amazing. Convenient location close to a shopping mall and many plazas.

The room was very untidy and smell terrible like wet rug. Sheets was not clean and rumpled . Even roaches was found. I had to literally clean the roo. My self. When i spoke to thd manager, he stated we are fully booked and made no effort to assist or sent a cleaner. I spent three nights and not once was the linning changed or towels replaced. Thank God i walked with my own stuff. Breakfast was a no show. Got there at 8am yo be told things finished. Seriously. Parking was sufficient and the external was not bad. Will not go again..a 1 star for me.

NO HOT WATER ALL WEEK

I was not informed at check-in that the water heater was broken. I was there five days. No hot water. The bed was quite comfortable, even though the place was noisy. The morning waffles were good - the only good part of breakfast. The people service was curt and brusque. The dyed neon red haired woman was the worst. The facility is in a sketchy neighborhood, even though the hotel was conveniently located for my purposes. It needs a lot of refreshing and fixing. I was not offered a partial refund for the lack of hot water. Will not choose this place again.

In The Cleaning in how clean the rooms are. It’s clean. The housekeeper doesn’t really good job on the keeping the rooms. Nice and clean puppy size that I requested a blanket for a pull out bed that I got and they did not provide me with no blankets are all like my kids were like freezing because they didn’t give a proper blanket for for for the pull out bed so there was not even blanket. Said I had to bring my own blankets. They were actually charging like $25 or $30 per blanket. Like a ridiculous.

Pool area was great and clean. Our room was entered by someone unknown, noticed, as we returned 5 hours later and our key was inactive. Upon entering our room everything was in place with an added gift of puke in and on our toilet. My deactivated key made sense if anyone can go to the front desk and request a new key to ANY room with no verification done prior to handing new keys. I know this as i forgot my key in room the day before and requested a new one, thwn returning my old one. Front desk tried to tell me it was deactivated possibly due to credit cards. I shut that down real quick when i informed them of the gift left. Thankfully all valuables were with us and no one physically in our room when we returned. Housekeeping was sent over to clean up, but did not feel i could be in room without locks and some random barging in with a new key the rest of stay.

I got this hotel for me and my family for a couple of nights, I honestly felt very unsafe…. There was cars racing right in front, a lot of noice a lot of people everywhere, I was very nervous, and my children were scared with all the reck it was way too much, car horns, burning rubber, people yelling it was too much and on top of that because of the racings there was a car accident that hit the fence that faces the road….. My room, had no water, it looked like there was a leak from the roof in the whole wall on top of the beds, it’s smelled like the room was not used in a long time, the fridge stank because it was turned of, oh and door lach didn’t work, it locked me in! The lady on the front desk she speaks Spanish, helped us and she apologized for all of the disturbance and everything and changed our room, the other room smelled better and it looked good… there was water but the tub had rust and it’s VERY SLIPPERY !! The breakfast, the juice it’s literally water with orange color, horrible, the waffles we had to call several times the lady that was doing the refills to mix the waffle batter better because it was always not coming out, on top of her with an attitude as she didn’t want to be there, she looked very angry and annoyed…. no variety of other juice at all, except water. Yup water and next to it colored water. Up and down the stairs with suitcases by the way…. I would not stay here again.

It was clean. A little noisy from the road noise. It could use updating. Trash over flowed the garbage cans in the corridors. We didn't get to use the pool because it was too cold but it looked awesome. Breakfast wasn't very much to choose from. Doors to the outside did not lock and they were supposed too.
