Close to Disney, the little pool was fun for the kids, however, we were disappointed that the splash pad and lazy river were not walking distance. I was disappointed as well in the quality and condition of the furniture, mattresses uncomfortable, sofa soft and sticky. Floors need to be thoroughly cleaned including under the couch. One of the coffee cups was cracked, a plate broke going from the microwave to the counter. The downstairs bathroom door does not lock. Overall all the stay was okay. Janet Rossiter

Great place, just very noisy!

The property was beautiful with lots of amenities available to us. The check in process was fine, just need to update how to work the door lock. The rental agency was very very attentive and sent us a lot of messages throughout our stay. There was a lot of noise surrounding our property and we were unsure who to contact about that. The noise was all around us and until very late hours. Despite all of that we would love to book again.

Nightmare

The rental and property were as described. The unit was mostly clean but there was hair in the downstairs bathroom shower. The frying pans were unusable and need to be replaced. The biggest problem is not with the property but with the “Wonder Vacation Homes” who manages the property. During our stay we noticed water leaking into the kitchen, we assumed it was the air conditioning and it immediately called the number listed to report issues. Nobody answers the phone and you are forced to leave a message, so I did. We then spent the evening soaking up the water with towels. I also left messages in the portal that you are asked to use when renting this unit. NO RESPONSE!!! We woke up the next morning to find kitchen floor covered in water. I left messages on the phone and in the portal again. Finally someone named Luis called me back and was so nasty. He told me that he would send an HVAC repairman to the unit within one hour. We canceled our plans and waited all day, using towels to contain the water and no one ever showed up. So needless to say our stay was awful but it was the property management that made this situation so bad. I have continued to call and leave messages but no response!

Great accommodations, great amenities

Great stay and experience at this property. Check in process was very smooth, the chat feature through the guest portal was convenient and responses were received in a timely manner, the house itself was great (although it is missing potholders in the kitchen and the water pressure in the upstairs showers could be better). The best thing about the property is the amenities at the Hideaway Club - fitness center, pool, lazy river, water slides, pool bar.

I would not recommend.

On arrival, the bathroom floor was dirty and there was hair all over the shower. The managers declined to clean it as I did not to take pictures prior to cleaning it myself. We also noticed ants crawling all around on the kitchen counters and when we notified the property manager, we were told they would send pest control, but never did during our stay. The house very badly needs cleaning of the dirty baseboards and a new paint job, as well as new carpet. The kitchen did not have anything available to help cook besides basic dishes and pans, but not even salt/pepper. As a guest, you were even required to bring your own garbage bags. I would not want to use this property management company given this experience.

Great condo would rent again

The property was just as the pictures showed. Mattresses were a little too soft and sheets didn't fit properly. Definitely need more pots and pans when the condo sleeps so many. Not one big fry pan. Had issues with gates and house alarm but nothing that wasn't addressed. Thanks for helping make our vacation a success!

The property was as expected. We enjoy Storey Lake. Our Management company was incompetent.

The management company did not return calls or answer our concerns or questions in a timely manner if at all. I prepaid for pool heat which was not turned on until the third day of our stay. I was refunded fees for only 2 of the 3 days. I was charged a damage deposit that was not a part of the contract and has still not been returned 29 days after we vacated the property. I will avoid any Vrbo properties that are managed by Wonder Vacation homes.

Great Location!!

We visited Florida with our two children and my parents. The house is well suited for two couples traveling together with kids. The location is great! Storey Lake Resort is a very nice maintained Resort and the Publix and Walmart are less then a mile away! If you visit this home bring everything!! Things like washcloths and trash bags were not provided which I thought was very bizarre. Not a negative just something that you should be aware of if you are visiting this home. Overall the experience was good and the staff was very responsive!!

Lacking some essentials

Property was nice, although lacking many kitchen essentials such as a cookie sheet, pot holders and the can opener didn’t work. Since most of the cooking was to be done in-house, those would have been nice. Had issues the whole time with trying to get the tv to work, even after following instructions on the check in email. Since we didn’t have a car, our Uber’s were unable to get in the gate after hours. Did not get any card key or access to the security gate. We tried the same code as the house, it didn’t work
