I will start with the negative. I called Vrbo and reported this, nothing was done. I called, texted, and emailed Wonder Vacation Homes, nothing was done.
Upon arrival we could not get in the gate. We waited with a long line of cars for over an hour. Tried to call Wonder Vacations emergency number, no answer. Tried to text on the guest profile, no answer. We had to park and carry our bags through the small opening by the side of the gate. Some cars waited to see if they could beat the gate closing when someone left. Crazy risk of getting vehicle damaged! Finally, the next day around 4pm, after at least 20 + phone calls and 10 texts ( wasted a good 2 hours of my family vacation) someone from Wonder Vacation finally responded and said it was a complaint I would need to take up with the property resort maintenance. Really?? I do not live there I rented the property from Wonder Vacations through Vrbo. Unbelievable! The gate was not fixed until our last day of the stay. Totally acceptable, again apparently this was a matter I needed to talk with the property manager about... since I am a resident.. REALLY!!! Also, asked for a pool heater, never got one. Never swam! So sad for the family and all the kids who were looking forward to it. I would never use Wonder Vacation Homes EVER again.
